Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Taz will be inducted into the 2300 Arena’s Hardcore Hall of Fame this weekend. Thoughts?
Forever enshrined in the hallowed former bingo hall known as the ECW Arena. It’s a true honor, and Taz represents everything that an ECW Original should be. Congratulations on an honor well deserved.
Who is your Mount Rushmore of bald wrestlers?
Baron Von Raschke, Ox Baker, Steve Austin, and the UK’s own Simon Miller.
Do you think Raja Jackson’s troubled past changes the way people should view his actions, or does it not excuse what happened to Syko Stu?
Regardless of his past, Raja’s actions are unforgivable, and there are no excuses for them. Common sense and humanity should take precedence, and Raja showed none of either. That idiot needs to be locked up for a long, long time.
What do you think — is Jake Hager calling it like it is, or just venting frustration after leaving AEW?
I think Jake is saying what he feels and believes, and he just managed to get away without signing an NDA, so he can speak freely. And I expect, as time progresses, more people will speak out and verify the claims that Hager made.
Jay Youngblood versus Shawn Stasiak versus JD McDonough. Who wins?
Three very underrated talents from three different generations. This would be an interesting match and fun to see. All three excelled in tag teams, but were also capable of good singles matches. This could go to any of the three, and it wouldn’t be an upset. It’d be just a damn good match. I think Stasiak would get the win.
Do you think AEW’s last-minute announcements help build hype or create chaos?
They confuse and help nothing in the big picture of things, at least nothing that I can see.
Do you think Jim Ross should close out his legendary career at the AEW commentary desk, or would you rather see him call one final WrestleMania?
This question is moot since Ross announced yesterday that he’s signed a new one-year deal with AEW and will be there for at least the foreseeable future. Ross should focus on his health and being healthy, and I’d like to see him wrap things up in WWE, but for now, he continues to be All Elite.
Should WWE apologize even though there was no disrespect meant towards Ozzy Osbourne?
Becky was being a heel, making a heel remark to the live audience. While she mentioned Ozzy’s name, it was not disrespectful to Ozzy in the slightest. I don’t think he would have minded and would probably have laughed. The only one who was offended was Kelly Osbourne, and I would think that she’s just overly sensitive about anything Ozzy. WWE has no reason to apologize.
Who will Liv Morgan feud with when she returns to WWE TV?
The natural feud will be with Roxanne Perez, but I think we’ll see those two as uneasy allies for a while before they fight. The first feud, I would think, would be between her and Rhea Ripley, rehashing old memories, plus Kairi Sane, seeking revenge for her injuries that kept her out of action.
If you could create a faction of 5 celebrities to ‘invade’ WWE for a one-shot match at Survivor Series, who would you choose? And what WWE wrestlers would you have them face?
I’d bring back Kevin Federline to stir up some heat as he did with John Cena so many years ago. The other four that come to mind that would work for such a role would be David Arquette, Rob Gronkowski, Taylor Lautner, and Cam Newton.
