Kristal Marshall has announced that she’s returning to the ring. Thoughts?

Who? Oh yeah, Teddy Long’s girlfriend fifteen years ago. Marshall is 41 years old, hasn’t wrestled a match since 2013, and wasn’t much of a wrestler when she was active. With all due respect to Marshall, big freakin’ deal!

WrestleMania 43 is headed to Saudi Arabia. Thoughts?

This is a major slap in the face to American wrestling fans and the loyal WWE audience, but it’s about the money for TKO, and this has been talked about for a while. Now, they’re pulling the trigger. It’s not a smart move in my opinion. It may pay well and work out short-term, but it’ll hurt WWE far more than it will help.

Do you think WWE’s involvement will improve AAA in the long run?

It already has. I’ve watched the last two WWE/AAA events, and I was impressed and enjoyed myself. And I’m looking forward to the Worlds Collide event this weekend. Before, I had no interest at all in AAA, save for a few YouTube clips. And now, I find myself becoming a fan.

Do you ever miss Vince McMahon on WWE?

No, not really. So long as we have Triple H, the McMahon family is still felt and well represented.

Who would you consider to be the current 4 Pillars of WWE? How about AEW?

Looking at the WWE roster, I would say Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, and Jey Uso. For AEW, I would go with MJF, Toni Storm, Darby Allin, and Kyle Fletcher.

A six-team Elimination Chamber match with one team from each decade from the ’70s to now. What teams are you choosing, and who wins?

Representing the ’70s, I’d go with Ole and Gene Anderson. For the ’80s, Rick Steamboat & Jay Youngblood. The ’90s would be the Midnight Express with Jim Cornette. The 2000s would go to Edge & Christian. The 2010s would have The Bar, Cesaro & Sheamus. And for the 2020s, let’s go with Jimmy & Jey, the Usos. The match would be epic and brutal. And the winners? Sheamus & Cesaro, aka The Bar.

In a recent interview, Sgt. Slaughter predicted that Logan Paul “will surpass every hero we’ve ever had in this business”. Thoughts?

Logan Paul is a prodigy, and I can certainly see where Slaughter is coming from. Surpass every hero? I wouldn’t go that far, but barring serious injury, Paul will be a major star for many years to come.

James Gunn says he originally wanted Dave Bautista to portray Peacemaker, and not John Cena. Thoughts?

The problem at the time was that Bautista was under contract to Marvel for the MCU and wasn’t available. So, Gunn settled for John Cena instead, and so far, it seems to have worked out quite well.

Tiffany Stratton says her “Daddy’s little rich girl” character was dropped because Shawn Michaels told her that they didn’t have a “daddy” for her, and there really wasn’t a payoff to the gimmick. Thoughts?

Why would WWE need a daddy? We went decades hearing about Jim Cornette’s “Mama”, and she was never seen, just referenced. And if a daddy was needed, either as a real father or a sugar daddy, WWE could easily have just created one, or brought in someone, Ted DiBiase, Ric Flair, JBL, or a million others, to play the role. This sounds like a cop-out and just an excuse to change the gimmick. Nothing more.

Daniel Garcia has apparently joined The Death Riders on AEW Dynamite. Thoughts?

Yay! I can see those ratings spiking already. Or, maybe not. A character change that makes no sense. Nothing more.

If you were a wrestler, what would your entrance song be?

Either “Hello, Hooray” by Alice Cooper or “Still the Same” by Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band. Either one works for me.

Bret Hart versus Kurt Angle. Who wins?

Can you believe that these two have never wrestled? It would be an instant classic for sure. And the winner? My gut says Kurt Angle.
