Nick Khan has announced that Italy will host a WWE PPV in early 2026. Thoughts?

This makes sense. With the success of the Clash in Paris, Clash at the Castle, and other PLEs in Europe, Italy is just one more notch on the headboard. Europe loves WWE, and the crowds have been great. They can’t have a WrestleMania, but this is their prize and reward.

Toni Storm has added Torrie Wilson to her list of dream opponents, along with Wendi Richter. Do you think this match, Toni versus Torrie, can happen? Would you like to see it?

Unlike the Wendi Richterteases, this one can actually happen. I’m not sure if Torrie is under any kind of WWE deal or not, but if not, we may actually see Torrie versus Toni headlining an AEW PPV. Lord, shoot me now. But it would be interesting.

Road Dogg says that for a current era DX, he would have Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford, the Street Profits, and JD McDonagh. Thoughts? Who would be in your version of a modern DX?

I agree about Rhea, Priest, and JD. And for the New Age tag team, The Street Profits work there as well. Road Dogg made the best choices on the current WWE roster, and I can’t disagree with any of them.

Hulk Hogan versus Superstar Billy Graham. Who wins?

This would be a fun match, but the promos and build would be the real excitement. Billy was the better in-ring performer, in my opinion, but Hogan was the better politician. Hulkamania rules the Universe, and would get the win for this match.

Keith Lee, who has been out of action since December 2023, says a return to the ring ‘ will certainly happen’. Thoughts?

We still don’t even know why Lee was pulled from the ring to start with. That news has never been revealed. I wish nothing but the best for Lee, and I hope that he does eventually get to return to the ring, but honestly, I’m taking his comments with a grain of salt. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Dave Meltzer thinks the next stop for Andrade should be New Japan Pro Wrestling. Thoughts?

New Japan is Meltzer’s side-chick and favorite promotion not named AEW, so of course, that would be Dave’s suggestion. And it’s not bad for a short run to pad the resume. I think Andrade’s best options are, at this point, CMLL or MLW, with hopes that Tony Khan eventually offers him a chance to come back to AEW at some point.

AEW is considering adding more members to the Hurt Syndicate. Who would you suggest?

Lio Rush, given his history with Lashley, would be my first choice. Are Cedric Alexander or Rich Swann available? I believe both are currently under contract to TNA, but if they become available, AEW should snatch them up.

Both Bret Hart and Bill Goldberg have been booked for an event, The Big Event Entertainment & Sports Expo in Brentwood, New York, on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Do you think they’ll be hanging out together?

I’d love to be a fly on the wall for the scheduling of that event. If it comes to pass, I think event organizers will do their best to keep both men as far apart as possible, but hopefully, if their paths do cross, they can talk, share a beer, and work out their differences. Most likely, though, I feel one or the other will have a scheduling conflict and not be able to appear. Purely a coincidence, of course.

What would be your dream piece of wrestling memorabilia?

Either the original Mid-Atlantic Championship title belt or the red and silver NWA World Television Championship belt. There are many titles and belts out there, but those two are special.
