Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What do you think about Triple H’s take on CM Punk’s character being rooted in real-life behavior?

The best characters are reflections of real life and real personality. Punk has been known for being a perfectionist, opinionated, and a good guy who can be an asshole for decades now. And that’s what his character reflects. HHH is right.

Has Jey’s entrance officially surpassed The Undertaker and The Rock?

The Yeet movement is better, to me anyhow, than The Rock’s entrance. But The Undertaker, with the gong and the smoke, is still by far the absolute best.

Do you think Brock Lesnar is planning something bigger with Paul Heyman and The Vision?

Given that Heyman introduced him at the PLE earlier tonight, I think it’s safe to say yes. I’m suspecting Lesnar with The Vision at Survivor Series, War Games.

Should Goldberg have reached out with more than just words? Do you think he owes Bret Hart financially or morally?

Bret Hart’s latest complaint is that Goldberg made millions of dollars and didn’t offer him any after ending Bret’s career all those years ago. Bret is getting delusional. Goldberg has apologized many times over the past twenty years, and it was not intentional. What more can Bret reasonably expect? He needs to move on and quit making stupid suggestions or demands.

Do you think Netflix would keep AEW programming if it buys Warner Bros. Discovery?

If the ratings hold, and if they are contractually able, given their deals with WWE, I don’t think they’d rock the boat too much, and at least for the duration of the current deals, AEW should be safe. After those contracts expire, it’s anyone’s guess how it may play out.

Do you think Shayna Baszler should stick around in a backstage role or step back into the ring full-time?

I think she should stick around under the WWE umbrella, continue to be useful and a productive part of the company, make a good living, and be ready when the right opportunity comes up.

Did you predict that CM Punk would eventually crash out after he returned to WWE?

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I tend to live by the words of Mel Brooks, in a song he wrote for a movie called ‘The 12 Chairs’. It goes, ‘Hope for the best, expect the worst’. With someone like Punk, it’s best to take it as it comes. And so far, he’s been an outstanding employee for the WWE.

Ric Flair has revealed that he wants to get married again, and is looking for wife #5. He also said that he’d like to have kids and raise a family. Thoughts?

Ric is 76 years old, an alcoholic, and truthfully, it’s a miracle he’s even still alive. And he’s talking about another wife, kids, and a new family. He had a woman who loved him, and his determination to be The Nature Boy and live the gimmick thirty years after the fact drove her away. Ric is a toxic alcoholic, and even if he were able to find a new wife who is still young enough to start a family, Ric could never support them or be a responsible parent. The only thing Flair cares about is Ric Flair and getting that next drink, being the Nature Boy. All of these claims are just as good as Flair’s credit score. He really needs to just quit talking.
