Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Bryan Danielson versus Verne Gagne. Who wins?

Danielson is an amazing wrestler and one of the best of his era, but Verne was an Olympian and shooter in every way that matters. Verne wins.

What do you think is the most impactful thing that could happen in WWE right now? That would create the biggest buzz? Signing, title win, whatever. Same with AEW!

For WWE, the return of Vince McMahon, for whatever reason. That would change almost everything in the company. For AEW, the hiring of a legit booker and creative leader. If Tony were to step back, even just a little bit, it would make a major impact on that company.

Ox Baker versus Bronson Reed. Who wins?

Baker was a great character and had a great presence, but Reed would take the victory after a very rough-looking match.

What should get the 2-day treatment next? MITB, Survivor Series, or Stand & Deliver?

Of the three options, I’d go with Survivor Series, with the women having their WarGames match on Night One, and the men on Night Two.

Jey Uso versus Jim Brunzell. Who wins?

Brunzell was very underrated in the AWA and WWE, but I had the chance to see him wrestle for Crockett as the Mid-Atlantic Champion, and the guy could work with the best of them. Jey is good, but limited in a few ways. Brunzell wins.

Is Ray Stevens in the WWE Hall of Fame? If not, why not?

Ray Stevens was inducted into the WWE HOF in 2020, as part of the Legacy inductees. And he is very deserving of the honor. Stevens was absolutely one of the all-time greats.

Bret Hart says Triple H is “a phony” who “never earned it” as he “just married the boss’s daughter”. Thoughts?

Has Bret been visiting Ric Flair and hitting the bottle? Bret is playing the role of the grouchy old man who yells at clouds and complains about everything. And couldn’t the argument be that Bret was only successful in Canada because he was Stu Hart’s son? Bret is just complaining to be complaining, and nothing more.

Should Giulia QUIT WWE for AEW?

Why would Giulia quit WWE, where she’s the Women’s United States champion, and go to AEW, where she would job to Mercedes Mone and then spend the rest of her career in multi-women matches on Collision. Giulia is good with the WWE.

Fatal 4-Way Match: Scott Hall versus Sid Vicious versus Mr. Perfect versus Ravishing Rick Rude. Who wins?

This match would be incredible. All four men were primarily heels, so that would be a factor. Perfect and Hall were former tag team partners, so they would alternate between working together and fighting. Perfect and Rude were also very close friends, so that might figure in as well. Hell, he has two allies in the match, and Curt Hennig is taking advantage of those relationships to win the match. That sounds absolutely perfect to me.
