Mickie James is being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at TNA Bound for Glory. Thoughts?

A well-deserved honor for a true wrestling legend. Hopefully, this will lead to an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame as well. Keeping fingers crossed.

NXT star Lainey Reid has been added to the WWE roster page. Thoughts?

An impressive young woman, and I guess we know now who will be assuming Piper Niven’s spot in the Secret Hervice with Chelsea Green. I’m speculating, but based on what I’ve seen of Reid in NXT, she’d be a good choice for that role.

We know you don’t like Meltzer or Sean Ross Sapp. And you like ike Johnson and Chris Van Vliet. But I’ve never heard you comment on Wade Keller. Thoughts?

Wade Keller is okay, and I think he does an excellent job. I was even a subscriber to his PWTorch newsletter back during the Monday Night Wars. The guy knows his stuff. I simply quit reading the newsletter when I got a computer and could go online regularly. But Keller? He’s one of the decent ones.

Ronda Rousey buried the in-ring return of AJ Lee at Wrestlepalooza, stating AJ didn’t look ready. She also added that her mixed tag team at WrestleMania was a better match and created more buzz. Thoughts?

Who cares what Ronda says? It’s good to see AJ Lee back, and if she’s not up to Ronda’s standards, I doubt AJ is losing any sleep over that. So far as the matches go, one was at Mania, so of course, there was more build and buzz. But both matches were good and served the purpose they were expected to.

What do you think AJ Lee should do next in WWE?

It’s obvious. Becky Lynch is the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and AJ made her tap at WrestlePalooza. So the next step is AJ versus Becky for the Women’s IC belt.

Today is Matt Hardy’s birthday. What is your favorite Matt Hardy moment or memory?

As a character, I liked it when Matt had the Version I character and Matt Facts. I also liked the Broken character, but how Matt managed to stay in character amazed me. And my favorite moment? I heard about this from friends, so it’s second-hand. But they lived here in Laurinburg, and one of the regular visitors to their house was my Lil’ Bro, Michael Youngblood. Mike stopped by the house to pick up something, and had Matt & Jeff Hardy with him. And while Michael and Jeff talked to everyone, I was told Matt started walking around, looking in the cabinets. Our friend, Shelley, told me this, so take it with a grain of salt, as Shelley turned out to be psychotic and delusional. She was my roommate for a year. I know. But she told me about that story with Matt & Jeff, and the other roomies backed it up. So, there you go. Happy Birthday, Matt Hardy.

Torrie Wilson thinks the multi-faceted nature of being a women’s wrestler has phased out the valet role. Is she right?

I was trying to think of any valets left who don’t wrestle themselves in WWE, TNA, or AEW, and I can’t think of any. I guess the days of Miss Elizabeth, Woman, Missy Hyatt, and Dawn Marie are over. She’s right.

WWE has plans to transform AAA to match the basic NXT salaries in their efforts to expand and build the Lucha promotion. Thoughts?

I’ve often heard about how low the wages in AAA were, and how many of their top stars worked full-time jobs, aside from the wrestling, to support their families. Moving everyone to a salary comparable to what NXT pays is an excellent move for AAA. It should do wonders for the morale and image of the company.

Where will Chris Jericho end up in 2026? WWE? AEW? TNA? Somewhere else? Retired?

I’m thinking a WWE run, an induction into the WWE HOF, and a part-time role moving between WWE, NXT, TNA, and AAA as an Ambassador and resident legend.

The Kabuki Warriors turned on Iyo Sky. Thoughts?

We knew it was coming, and this sets up for Rhea & Iyo versus Asuka and Kairi at Crown Jewel, which should be an excellent match.
