Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Bad Bunny has been selected to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. Thoughts?

Personally, I’d rather see some real music by someone like Kid Rock, a last hurrah by the Rolling Stones, Hank Williams Jr, or hell, even The Backstreet Boys, but whatever. Bunny is decent and better than the garbage we’ve been seeing over the past few years. It doesn’t matter. I won’t be watching.

Should Melina be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame? If so, who should induct her?

Melina is okay, and she deserves it more than some recent inductees. If this were to happen, the person with the most history, who is still in WWE, is The Miz. So, let him do the induction. It would be AWESOME!

Do you think Adam Copeland will be back in AEW before his contract expires?

Yeah, he’ll be back. It won’t make sense, and will mean even less, but Cope’s contract, from what I understand, runs until October 2026. He’ll have to return at some point to earn his paycheck.

Who is going to the main roster first? Ethan Page or Ricky Saints?

I believe Saints has a long run as the NXT Champion to do first, so that makes Page, especially given the support of people like Chelsea Green, will show up on the main roster first.

Who turned on whom? Paul Jones or Ricky Steamboat?

If you remember, in December 1978, Paul Jones and Ricky Steamboat, a very successful tag team, were the two finalists in a two-ring Battle Royal. According to Jones, he suggested that he and Steamboat split the winner’s purse, but Steamboat was jealous and turned on him, betraying their partnership and selling out for money. It sounds a little dubious, but Jones stuck to that story, even decades later, up until he died in 2018. So, either Jones was a great heel, sticking to kayfabe until the end, or he was telling the truth about Steamboat. Regardless, that kind of perseverance deserves some respect. I believe Paul Jones.

Chelsea Green says Nia Jax is a locker room leader. Thoughts?

Nia has been there for a while, and even though she might occasionally screw up in the ring, I have no doubt she’s a prominent figure in the locker room. She comes across to me as smart, friendly, and fun to be around, outside of her character. Plus, we have no reason not to believe Chelsea. She has no reason to lie.

Have you seen the Greg Gagne/Magnum TA podcast? Thoughts?

I’ve tried to watch it a few times, but there is no chemistry between Magnum and Greg, and they’re both bland. Watching someone peel a potato would be more exciting. And that host? Magnum and Greg have strong wrestling legacies, but that doesn’t make someone a good or entertaining podcaster. And Greg and Magnum? They’re neither.

Priscilla Kelly posted on X: “Welp, to the fans in AZ that helped themselves to all of my 8x10s while I was away, you fucking suck. This is the second time in less than a month I’ve had merch stolen from my table. Please, do better guys, and hold each other more accountable or something. This is my livelihood.” Thoughts?

After the first time, wouldn’t Kelly, formerly known as Gigi Dolan, know to have someone watch her stuff if she needed to step away? Wouldn’t that be common sense anyhow? Yes, people taking her stuff was wrong, and it’s pretty messed up, but why was it left unattended in the first place? Or again, at a different event? That old saying is what? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. She screwed up that second time, and there is no one to blame but herself.

Who would be the worst wrestler to have in the car with you if the cops were pulling you over?

The first name that comes to mind is Jamie Dundee. I like Jamie, and he’s a true Memphis legend, but his past, his habits, his behavior at times, if we saw blue lights behind us, we’re most likely going to jail. It’s almost a given.

Beth Phoenix saved her husband, Adam Copeland, just days after AJ Lee returned to WWE to work with her husband, CM Punk. Did AEW copy WWE, or is it just a coincidence?

It’s just a coincidence. AEW and Tony Khan are pioneers who would never, ever try to imitate or duplicate anything WWE does. Look at the upcoming Blood & Guts match. It’s nothing like War Games, right? And WWE shows running at the same time as AEW events? That’s a coincidence, too. Nothing more.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
