Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Mark Henry says that Joe Hendry should be John Cena’s last opponent. Thoughts?

That works for me. I believe it would be a fun match, put over Hendry really strongly, and give Cena a memorable send-off. Book it, Triple H.

What are your thoughts on Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano?

I’m just glad they finally have names. I like the Americano trios gimmick, and I still think they will be involved in an AAA version of Judgment Day, as Dom tries to establish himself as the King of the Luchadores. I can only imagine what Chad Gable is thinking right now, though.

Should Dominik be the only one to use Eddie Guerrero’s signature chair spot—or is it fair game for any wrestler to pay tribute?

Dominik should be the only one to use Eddie’s tricks regularly, but if the WWE is in a strong Latino market and Dom isn’t on the card, then the occasional in-ring tribute should be okay.

In a recent rant, Ric Flair slammed WWE for using scripted promos. Do you think anyone in WWE today can hang with Ric Flair on the mic, or is that era long gone?

WWE uses a mixture of scripted promos and bullet points, depending on the performer. Why does Ric even care? And can anyone in the WWE hang with Ric on the mic? Yes. CM Punk, Becky Lynch, Paul Heyman, Ricky Saints, The Miz, Cody Rhodes, Roman, Brock Lesnar, R-Truth, and Asuka all immediately come to mind.

If The Bloodline reunites, do they need Sami Zayn?

Either Sami or Solo, otherwise the package isn’t complete.

Andrade is back in AEW. Thoughts?

Well, he had to go somewhere. Hopefully, this run will work out better than the last one.

The name of next Tuesday’s NXT Invasion has been changed to Showdown. Thoughts?

TKO and WWE caved to the pressure and don’t want to offend anyone. I can see the point, but given the history of the Invasion name in WWE, I don’t think they should have changed the name. In context, it was fine as it was.

Do you believe Freddie Prinze Jr.’s claim about WWE pairing writers with wrestlers by ethnicity?

Who would be able to relate to the characters better than someone of a similar background? Should Pee Wee Herman be writing movies for Steve McQueen? Should Loretta Lynn be scripting for Gene Simmons? Common ethnicity and backgrounds make sense as a way to pair talent with writers. It’s common sense.

Mark Henry says the time for Roman Reigns versus The Rock has passed. Is he right?

Roman is part-time now, while The Rock has lost tons of weight, plus suffered some injuries doing stunts on his last movie. Henry is right, and the time has passed.

Kevin Nash appears to agree with many WWE fans who believe there will be two WrestleManias per year. When would the second WrestleMania weekend happen, though? Is there room on the schedule?

WWE trying to do this to appease the American fans, while not offending the Saudis, would be quite the stunt. I can see WWE trying to do this, with a major two-night event that is everything WrestleMania, except for the name. I have no idea where it would fit on the schedule. Maybe it would replace one of the smaller PLEs? Or just go all out with King of the Ring, or Money in the Bank. It wouldn’t be easy, and there would have to be a lot of moving things around, alterations to the schedule, and jumping through hoops to make it work, but I can definitely see WWE trying to do this.
