Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Seth Rollins has been pulled from WWE’s upcoming Japanese tour. Thoughts?
The man is supposedly injured and may require surgery on his shoulder. Of course, he won’t be wrestling or traveling to Japan. Luckily, the WWE roster is so stacked that fans will barely notice.
Would you have wanted to see AJ Styles in AEW before retiring?
We’ve seen how well AEW was for the careers of Adam Copeland, Saraya, Mark Henry, and Big Show, right? I’d rather see Styles stick with WWE and TNA and avoid the embarrassment.
Do you think Becky Lynch will get involved in Seth Rollins’ storyline with The Vision when she returns to RAW?
Oh yes, she’ll be involved. And it probably won’t be good for Paul Heyman or The Brons.
With Stevie Turner gone, who should be the next General Manager for WWE Evolve?
Mr. Robert Stone seems the obvious choice, but I’d rather see the return of an old face from the PC. How about Norman Smiley or even Teddy Long?
Chris Jericho has announced his 2026 Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Rager at Sea. His initial talent list includes several legends, but no AEW talent. Thoughts?
All that was released was an initial list, with more to come. It’s still early, and the cruise isn’t until November 2026, more than a year away. With Jericho, this doesn’t mean anything. If no AEW talents are booked by October 2026, then we can speculate. Until then, not so much.
Eddie Guerrero versus Dusty Rhodes. Who wins?
This would be either really good or, despite the two legends, really bad. I just can’t see Dusty and Eddie having chemistry as opponents. Just because he probably would be booking the match, I’ll give the win to Dusty.
Kota Ibushi says that it will be at least two years before he’s able to return to the ring. Thoughts?
And didn’t he just return from nearly a year out due to injury? At least he has a contract with AEW, so he’ll be paid. Two years seems excessive, but Ibushi knows his body better than we do, so who knows? Best wishes to Ibushi for a speedy recovery.
Who’s the real People’s Champion? Diamond Dallas Page or The Rock?
DDP was first, but the Rock took it to the next level. So, who was the real People’s Champion? Neither. My vote is for Zack Ryder, aka Matt Cardona. The WWE buried him, but the fans were behind him, and even chanted his name over The Rock at Madison Square Garden. Remember that? Woo woo woo – you know it.
If you could be a wrestling manager, who would you model yourself after for your character?
For me, it’d be a cross between Captain Lou Albano and Gary Hart. Yeah, a modern-day Sir Oliver Humperdink, but with one leg. Yeah, I can see that.
