Today, there are “No Kings” protests all across the nation. Well, my apologies to Jerry Lawler, Harley Race, Haku, Ernie Ladd, Owen Hart, and King Booka. These jabronis ain’t got a damn clue. Let’s do the column.

Vince Russo is upset that Triple H put 4 titles on Stephanie Vaquer in a year, saying that she never would have made it in the Attitude Era, and can barely speak English. Thoughts?

In the Attitude Era, no woman was allowed more than five minutes in a match. Women were the special attraction and the sexy jokes, not wrestlers. Now, the wrestling does the talking, and actions often speak louder than words. Hey Russo, this is NOT the Attitude Era. We’ve grown up.

How long before John Cena comes back to wrestle?

I think he’s sincere about his retirement from in-ring action. Hollywood will keep him busy, and I doubt he’ll have the time to even attempt a comeback. Of course, this is wrestling, and never say never, but I think Cena is as close to never as we’re ever going to get.

Who do you think would be the biggest celebrity WWE could get for WrestleMania?

With AI, anything or anyone is possible. But, in terms of living, breathing celebrities, Taylor Swift and her loyal man-slave, the football player. I personally would like to see Alice Cooper, Gene Simmons, and Hank Williams Jr.

The Nasty Boys versus The War Raiders. Who wins?

Erik and Ivar are a strong and talented team, but in this match, they’d be headed to Pit City. The Nasty Boys would win.

WWE has written Jacob Fatu off television, and it may be quite a while before he returns. Thoughts?

From what I understand, Jacob has some painful dental surgery ahead of him and will essentially be having his entire mouth fixed of pre-existing conditions. Hopefully, he’ll be back by Mania. Best wishes to the Samoan Werewolf for a painless and speedy recovery.

Tommy Dreamer says that Mickie James belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. Thoughts?

This is a no-brainer. I’ve been saying it for a while, and it’s good to hear that Dreamer agrees. Mickie James for the WWE Hall of Fame. Make it happen, Triple H.

Do you think WWE should bring Paige back for one last run?

Honestly, I think Paige brings more baggage than benefits, and I just don’t see, aside from the initial pop, Paige working out well in today’s WWE. She’s only a shadow of what she was, and promo work only goes so far. Maybe for a one-shot against AJ Lee, who has also seemingly vanished after one match, would work, but anything more than that, I think Paige would be in over her head. I would not suggest a final run.

Why do you think that fewer fans are turning out to AEW events lately?

For WWE events, the crowds are slowing down because we’re being priced out and can’t afford the high costs and lack of empathy by TKO. As for AEW, it’s the bad booking and bad storylines that are killing the shows. Who wants to go to a show to see fifteen matches that look like they’ve been thrown together by picking names out of a hat? The wrestlers, the characters, aren’t allowed to give us any reason to know them or care for them, and everything is so rushed with no build or substance. If the promotion doesn’t care about giving us a reason to invest in and care about these wrestlers, then why should we? AEW is quantity, not quality, and that will only take you so far.
