Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Should parents be more cautious about letting their kids watch AEW?
Parents should take note and have a say in EVERYTHING their kid watches, listens to, or interacts with, be it AEW, video games, music, social media, or people in the neighborhood. How the kid turns out as an adult and person largely depends on the kind of parenting that the kid receives.
Do you agree with Marty Jannetty that dealing with fans 24/7 is part of the gig?
It is part of the job, but it’s not too much to ask for the fans to be respectful and have common sense. After all, wrestlers are people too, and their families, kids, etc., didn’t ask for strangers and mobs. Just use some damn common sense, and that’s both the wrestlers and the fans.
Do you think Mercedes Moné deserves her record-breaking success?
Personally, I think she’s one-dimensional and overrated, but it doesn’t matter what I think. Tony Khan is her boss and thinks she deserves it.
Do you think AEW pay-per-views are way too long?
Six to eight matches, lasting 3-4 hours, tops, is the ideal length for a major PPV. Thirteen matches and nearly six hours, as AEW has been known to do, that’s just too damn long.
Would you sign up for TNA’s Street Team if it came to your city?
Nope, but that’s only because I have trouble getting around and am basically homebound. But, if TNA were to ever come to Laurinburg, NC, or somewhere local, and needed an internet source to spread the word, I’m down.
Former AEW/NXT Producer Sarah Stock, aka Sarita, talking about the Aquarium spot during the Moxley/Allin match: You know who should stop this? Mothers. With their remote control. This is worse than the plastic bag over the head. Kids are going to end up dead trying this stuff at home. @aew. Thoughts?
What is there to say about this? She’s 100% right.
Would you subscribe to an Andrade OnlyFans?
If I want to see a brown-skinned man do freaky things, I only have to drive three miles to E. Laurinburg and visit a friend. And my guy has a twin. So, sorry Andrade. No OnlyFans views for you.
According to Sean Ross Sapp, Andrade has been fired from AEW. Thoughts?
I saw one mention of this, but can’t confirm that Sapp actually reported it, so I’m taking it with a grain of salt. Obviously, if there is a valid no-compete from Andrade’s WWE deal, AEW can’t sign or use him without serious legal implications, so any AEW deal would be voided. I think that right now, everyone is stepping back to see how all of this turns out. Does it count as a firing if the contract isn’t legal or valid? Hmmmm.
