WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2025
Thoughts & Predictions

Coming up on Saturday, October 25, 2925, from Prescott Valley, Arizona, is the NXT Brand and Halloween Havoc. And in the spirit of Halloween, I’m dressing up like a gypsy. Now, let’s see if I can discern the future. Let’s break out the crystal ball and do this.
NXT Women’s Championship
Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Tatum Paxley,
Surprisingly, Jacy Jayne has grown on me as the top woman in NXT, and I have become a fan. Paxley has some talent, but it’s not her time. Not yet. Look for Jayne to find a way, overcome the odds, and retain.
Winner and STILL NXT Women’s Champion: Jacy Jayne.
Broken Rules match: NXT Tag Team Championship.
The Broken Hardys (Brother Nero and Broken Matt Hardy) (c) vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and/or Osiris Griffin).
The Dark State has the numbers game and the advantage. But Broken Rules means that anything can happen, and probably will. Will this match be live or cinematic? I’m expecting a mixture of wrestling, weirdness, and cameos galore by people and characters who have made an impact in the world, that is, the Hardys. I’m calling it now. We’ll see The Boogeyman. And as for this match, the belts stay where they are, and Dark State? They will be DELETED!
Winners and STILL NXT Tag Team Champions: The Broken Hardys, Broken Matt & Brother Nero.
NXT Championship
Ricky Saints (c) vs. Trick Williams.
Trick may be full of tricks, but we’ll get a stark reminder of why Ricky Saints is the future of NXT and WWE. That title is staying put.
Winner and STILL NXT Champion: Ricky Saints.
Day of the Dead match: NXT North American Championship
Ethan Page (c) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
Ethan Page may be All Ego, but he’s also a master of holding on by the skin of his teeth. And El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr? I don’t even think he’s a real doctor. This match should be outstanding, and could quite possibly steal the show. It’s going to get crazy and be damn good. I’m expecting the champion to once again find the way and keep his belt.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: Ethan Page.
NXT Women’s North American Championship
Zaria (c) vs. Blake Monroe.
Here is where we’ll see the title switch. The real champion, Sol Ruca, is injured and has given up the title. Zaria is defending the belt in her place, and Monroe is getting her opportunity to take it to the next level, the role WWE seemingly has planned for her since Day One. She’s not timeless, but she will be the champion.
Winner and NEW NXT Women’s North American Champion: Blake Monroe.
Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater vs. Mr. Iguana and La Parka.
Mr. Iguana is a fun character, and La Parka, even if this is not the original, is a Lucha legend. But Je’Von and Slater are the future of WWE and TNA. The only way they’re losing here is if the plans are for them to feud later. So, do they have success as a team first, and then split up, or do they have problems from the start? I prefer the long-term storytelling.
Winners: Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater.
And there you go with my predictions. If any matches are added between now and Saturday, I’ll be back to update this. So, what are your predictions and thoughts? This looks to be an outstanding show and should be major fun. Let me know what you feel. In the words of Konnan, speak on this. Thanks for reading. And Happy (early) Halloween.
