Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Alllegedly, Bobby Horne, aka Sir Mo, begged WWE to help pay for a kidney transplant, but WWE refused. Thoughts?

And I hate to sound cruel, but why should WWE pay? It wasn’t a wrestling-related situation, and Horne worked for WWE for three years, nearly thirty years ago. That would be like me going to the Charlotte Observer newspaper, where I delivered papers for 3 years, back in 1988-1991, and asking them to pay for my prosthetic leg. It’d be nice if they did, but it’s not their responsibility. Horne managed to get the kidney transplant and had a good life for many years afterward. Don’t gripe at WWE for this one.

David Otunga believes a judge would rule in Andrade’s favor if he took WWE to court over his non-compete. Thoughts?

Otunga is probably right, but think of the legal fees and time tied up in court waiting for that judgment to come in. Most wrestlers couldn’t afford it and are better off just taking the time off, without burning that bridge as a wrestler.

Tony Khan confirms that Britt Baker is still with AEW and would “love to see Dr. Britt Baker come back.” Thoughts?

If Tony would love to see her come back, book her for a show or event. If he’s not doing that, he’s not anxious to see her return and is just holding her to a contract to prevent her from going to WWE. Use her or release her, Tony. It’s your call.

Samantha Irvin announced she has one more year on her non-compete clause after leaving WWE.

Two years is a long non-compete, but she asked for the release, and WWE is obviously still paying her since she was released and not fired. I don’t feel sorry for her, and she’s keeping busy with her music.

Sol Ruca has just announced that she’s not cleared to compete and is giving up the NXT North American Championship! Thoughts?

This sucks for Sol. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Get well soon.

Lilian Garcia has signed a two-year contract extension with the WWE. Thoughts?

Lilian Garcia is a beautiful woman, and to so many, she represents the Attitude Era and what a great announcer should be. I’m happy to see WWE realizes what a keeper Lilian truly is and has signed her to a new deal. Good for her.

Tony Khan says that he has considered holding an AEW All-Women’s PPV. Thoughts?

Does Tony have enough women on the roster for a 14-match event? Even with AEW, ROH, CMLL, and New Japan, he would be stretching it. I’d like to see this happen, though. It’d be interesting to see if AEW could even pull this off.

Bad News Brown versus Sabu. Who wins?

Bad News Brown wins. No question in my mind about that.

D-Von Dudley says that he had meetings with Tony Khan about becoming a producer in AEW, but Tony was adamant that he wanted D-Von to wrestle. Thoughts?

D-Von wants to be an agent. Tony wants D-Von to wrestle or be a manager. D-Von repeats that he was seeking work behind the scenes as an agent or trainer. Tony wants him on the TV and in the ring. D-Von clarifies that he’s not physically comfortable in the ring or wrestling. Tony wants him to wrestle and manage. It seems to me that someone wasn’t listening. It also explains to me why Bryan Danielson and Sting keep returning to the ring. And why Tully Blanchard was in the ring when he was managing FTR. Someone in AEW refuses to listen.
