Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What were your thoughts on NXT Halloween Havoc? Rate the show on a scale of 1-5.

I watched the entire show on Peacock, and it was pretty decent. I never got bored, and only paused once for a refill on my Dew Zero. I’ll give it 4.25 stars out of 5.

Is All Ego Ethan Page a future WWE Champion?

I’m not sure about WWE or World Champion yet, but I can absolutely see many U.S. or Intercontinental Championship titles in his future. Barring injuries, Ethan Page is a future main-event star.

Terry Funk versus Jeff Hardy. Who wins?

This match would be awesome and a fun contrast of styles. The characters of Funk and Hardy would make for a fun build and television. And the winner? Terry Funk, of course.

Dark State beat The Hardys and are the new NXT Tag Team Champions. Thoughts?

I guess three tag-team titles, and the schedule was too much for Matt & Jeff at this point in their careers. The NXT titles belong with NXT talent, and The Hardys got their moment to make history. The victory by Dark State was the right move.

Omos wants to wrestle Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. Also, Omos recently said that The Vision turning on Seth doesn’t sit right with him, and is offering his services, as the Omos Protection Agency, to Becky and anyone else. Thoughts?

It makes no sense that WWE hasn’t been using Omos regularly, and this idea, this gimmick, makes sense. A legit giant following in the footsteps of the APA and Kronik, acting as a modern-day bounty hunter and problem solver. The gimmick hasn’t been used in a while, and Omos would be the right person for a role such as this. I like this idea.

Do you think that WWE is wasting Carmelo Hayes’ potential?

Right now, Carmelo is lost in the shuffle because of all the names currently on the WWE roster, but he’s being shown on TV regularly, and while a feud with The Miz isn’t the same as fighting Roman Reigns every week, it’s not a bad place to be. Be patient. His time is coming.

How did you react when Jey eliminated Jimmy last week on Raw?

I just muttered, “Damn!”. After Jimmy saved Jey twice, I suspected something like this would happen. I wasn’t really surprised, though.

Cool or corny? What did younger you and what does current you think of the spinner belt?

At the time, I thought it fit the character, John Cena, and while it and he annoyed me, I still found it kind of cool.

Do you think Samantha Irvin should return to wrestling once her non-compete ends?

Considering how well her musical career is going, I believe that when her non-compete ends, she’ll be happy for any job she can get, including pro wrestling announcing.

Teddy Long has picked Gunther and Jade Cargill as the wrestlers of the year. The best wrestlers of 2025. Thoughts?

While I respect Teddy, he’s not correct with this one. Gunther is amazing, but the best wrestler of 2025 in WWE is Dominik Mysterio, especially over the past few months. Gunther is right up there, so no arguments. But Jade? Really? Jade can barely get through a match without screwing up. In my opinion, the best woman in WWE right now is Iyo Sky.
