Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Jake Paul recently stated in an interview that in a boxing ring, he would knock out either Roman Reigns or Kevin Owens. Thoughts?

Well, Paul does have, I believe, a 12-1 record in the boxing ring, with 7 KO’s, so Paul would have the advantage over both Roman and KO inside the boxing ring, and would be the favorite.

Jade Cargill finally won her first WWE Women’s Championship, but who will challenge her for the gold?

Once she and Tiffany Stratton do their rematch, looking at the SmackDown roster, I think either Michin or Chelsea Green will be the next challengers.

Do you agree with Cody Rhodes that today’s wrestlers have it easier?

Back in the day, WWE wrestlers were on the road and doing house shows and TV 5-6 days a week. Now, it’s just TV and PLEs, with only the rare house show or live event. So yeah, today’s wrestlers have it easier. Cody is right.

Do you agree that CM Punk should focus on mentoring younger talent instead of winning titles?

Why not do both? Punk can be the champ, plus still be a mentor and leader in the locker room. It’s not as if those roles are exclusive and can’t be done.

You’re in “the room” with Hunter, Nick, Pearce, and Heyman. Ari Emmanuel pops in and says, “Before you all leave the room, you need to cut at least five performers from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. At least 5 from each brand. Assuming we don’t actually know anyone’s salaries or contract status, who do you recommend?

RAW is kind of hard because the roster is so stacked with good talent, but my picks would be Akira Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri, Cruz Del Toro, Julius Creed, and Brutus Creed. From SmackDown, I’d release Apollo Crews, B-Fab, Kit Wilson, Elton Prince, and JC Mateo. And finally, from NXT, Ava, Dante Chen, Jasper Troy, Kale Dixon, and Nikkita Lyons.

JBL recently said that he feels Vince McMahon will write a book within the next two years and tell his side of the story, telling all. Would you read a book by Vince McMahon? Thoughts?

A book by Vince, telling all from his point of view. There would be no chance in hell that I’d pass up on that.

Was there a character in wrestling that was so stupid, but the wrestler got it over?

Orange Cassidy comes to mind. So does Danhausen, The Boogeyman, and at times, even R-Truth would fall into that category.

Sting in AEW was way better than Sting in WWE. Yes or no?

In this case, AEW got it right and made Sting look like the legend that he is. WWE dropped the ball with Sting, big time.

Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker versus Ole & Gene Anderson. Who wins?

Bronson and Breakker would overpower Ole & Gene, and win the match, but a post-match ambush by The Minnesota Wrecking Crew would send Bron and Breakker to the local medical facility. Andersons lose the match, but win the war.

Marko Stunt is joining Memphis Wrestling as a full-time on-screen character, mentor, and coach. Thoughts?

I just saw this, and so long as Marko doesn’t get physical and take bumps, this is very cool for Marko. He’s a unique character and personality, and adds to the product. He can talk and has charisma, but just can’t take the abuse. It’ll be interesting to see what his role in Memphis turns out to be.

The Hurricane versus Mr. Iguana. Who wins?

The Super Hero beats the Lizard Man every time. Hurricane wins.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352.
