Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Tony Khan says that he wants Shaquille O’Neal back in AEW for another match. Thoughts?
Shaq is only 53 years old? I thought he was much older than that. But regardless of age, no one cares about Shaq anymore. He brings nothing to the table in terms of pro wrestling, in my opinion. If Tony brings him into AEW, it’s just throwing money away. Nothing more.
Priscilla Kelly claims that she was bullied to the point of being suicidal in WWE. Thoughts?
The headline makes it all look like WWE was trying to ruin her life, but in the interview, she verifies that her brother was in trouble, her father had just gone to prison, and her mother was fighting a serious illness, all while she was battling depression and feeling stressed and pressured. She also admits that she was just going through the motions while in WWE and has lost her love and passion for the business. So the question and headline were misleading clickbait. We all have rough times. I’m having major issues right now myself. But WWE isn’t to blame. Life is.
Is AEW creating a new National Championship as retaliation for the NWA not allowing him to use the trademarked name, Shockwave? Thoughts?
AEW wanted to use Shockwave for a show. The NWA already had a show with that name and wouldn’t give up rights. And now, Tony is being petty. It really is just that obvious in my opinion.
Should the NWA respond to the AEW controversy on their programming, allowing current NWA National Champion Mike Mondo to call out AEW on TV and in promos?
Play it up and call out AEW for trying to infringe upon the AEW name. The NWA has history on its side, and calling out AEW for trying to steal their titles adds to the publicity and creates a reason for people to get behind the NWA, as the little man fights the big bully. It also makes great promo material for Mike Mondo to build on and grow his legacy. This makes AEW look petty and like a bully. Call them out.
Nick Hogan versus Kevin Federline versus David Arquette. Who wins?
Nick never wrestled. Federline only wrestled one match. Arquette was the WCW World Champion. Arquette wins.
Is it just me, or does War Games feel forced this year in both matches?
It’s not just you. It seems like the WWE is just throwing things together and hoping it will work.
WWE has hired Chavo Guerrero Jr. to work backstage and help with the AAA events. Thoughts?
This makes sense, given that Chavito knows WWE and AAA, is bilingual, and is well respected by both WWE and AAA talents. And hopefully, we can get some Chavito/Dominik Mysterio crossovers. That would be the best part of all of this. Congratulations to Chavo for his new job and hopefully a long future in WWE and AAA.
Do you think WWE should induct The Nation of Domination into the Hall of Fame?
Is Ahmed Johnson included in that package? How about JC Ice and Wolfie D? Who was the Nation of Domination? The Rock, Ron Simmons, The Godfather (as Kama), Mark Henry, and D-Lo Brown. The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette and Demolition need to go first, but yeah, the Nation of Domination was a faction that mattered. Let them in.
