Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Do you think that Matt Cardona will be part of The Last Time Is Now Tournament?

How many vacant spots are there in the tournament? Cena and Cardona do have a history that was never resolved. And Cardona’s gimmick is always ready. I doubt we’ll see it happen, but if it does, it makes sense, and I’ll be glad to see it. Woo woo woo – you know it!

What was your favorite spot from the AEW Blood & Guts matches?

Was it the bloody Blue Sky eight minutes into the show? Was it the taser spot? Maybe Orange Cassidy having his hands stapled. The chair fight on top of the cage ranks up there. The puppet’s appearance was cool. FTR going after Rick Steamboat? It was a wild night. My favorite reason to cringe, though? Darby and the table and fire spot. Yeah, that’s it.

Do you think R-Truth should be the one to face John Cena in the final round?

As much as I’m a fan of R-Truth, he’s not the right person for that match. I’m going for either Brock Lesnar or Gunther.

Peter Palaco, aka Justin Credible, announced that he has just completed a Rehab program, as of yesterday, November 12. Thoughts?

He allegedly just completed a rehab program, but less than a month ago, he was asking for money online and making false claims about a car accident, needing money for gas and tolls. I hope that I’m wrong, but let’s suffice it to say I have my doubts about Credible and the legitimacy of this rehab program. My spidey-sense says that he’s going to be asking for money and help to “preserve his sobriety” within the next few days. And $40 would help so much.

What’s your take on Tony Khan keeping the booking power in AEW?

My take is that Tony needs to keep paying the bills, but hire a competent and professional booker to run AEW and ROH. After six years, he’s not getting better, and if possible, things are getting worse. Tony is NOT a wrestling booker.

Tito Santana versus Brad Armstrong. Who wins?

Are they in New York or Georgia? This would be a fun and epic match for sure. Tito was the bigger, international star thanks to the WWF, so I’ll go with Tito for a very hard-fought win.

Joe Hendry has signed with WWE. Thoughts?

Obviously, WWE believes. And I do too. We all knew that this was coming, and I’m glad to see what Hendry can do on the main roster in WWE. It should be a fun run.

JDC (Fandango) has announced that he’s retiring from in-ring competition next month. Thoughts?

I hate to see this. Johnny Curtis, aka Dirty Dango, is a damn good wrestler, but he knows his body and what is best for himself and his family for the future. And Curtis said “in-ring”, so most likely, he’s moving to a role as an agent or trainer. I doubt we’ve seen the last of Fandango, JDC, Dirty Dango, or whatever name he uses. Best wishes to Curtis for a successful and happy future.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
