Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Who was your first favorite pro wrestler? And who is currently your favorite pro wrestler?

My first favorite? I believe it was Blackjack Mulligan. And my current favorite? The King of the Luchadors, Dominik Mysterio.

Kyle Fletcher says there’s “not a fcking chance” Logan Paul is better than Will Ospreay or Kenny Omega, and calls Stevie Richards’ thoughts on Logan Paul ‘bullsht’. Thoughts?

But is Logan Paul better than Kyle Fletcher? He’s not denying that, is he? Given the current status of both Omega and Ospreay, the two men in 2025, it’s hard to argue that Paul is NOT better than the two. As for Stevie, he’s giving an educated opinion based on his knowledge and experience as a professional wrestler. Just because Kyle doesn’t agree doesn’t mean Stevie is wrong. It’s just an opinion, and he’s right.

Dolph Ziggler has new merchandise available on the WWE Shop. Thoughts?

While Dolph remains under contract to TNA, he’s making some WWE money on t-shirts and posters. Nothing wrong with that.

Maxxine Dupri is the new Women’s IC Champion. Thoughts?

Who didn’t see this coming? Congratulations to Maxxine on her first WWE Championship.

Gunther versus Wade Barrett. Who wins?

Too bad that Drew is retired as a wrestler. This would be a very good match. And my opinion? I think Gunther would come out with the victory.

How would you rate Monday Night RAW from MSG on a scale of 1-5?

The show was fast-paced and packed from start to finish. Plenty of returns, plenty of action, and it was easily the best RAW in quite a long while. I’ll give it a 5.

So the final two men in War Games are Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Thoughts?

Exactly as I predicted. The men’s War Games match is loaded with star power, and I expect we’ll see a very good match.

Do you think John Cena deserves to headline the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame?

It would be the perfect ending to his last year as an active wrestler. So long as The Midnight Express and Demolition get inducted, I don’t care who else is inducted.

The Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series match or the WarGames match? Which do you prefer?

I prefer the original elimination match most of the time. It depends on the reason and the story leading up to the match. If there is a strong build and reason, such as last year with The Bloodline and CM Punk versus The New Bloodline and Bronson Reed, go with the double-cage and War Games. If it’s just a match being thrown out there like this year’s Team Rhea versus Team Asuka, it’d work better as a traditional Survivor Series match. It just depends on the situation and reason for being.

We all have that wrestler that we believed was destined to be a world champion one day—the guy with all the gifts and talent to make a major impact for years to come. Then one day, they disappear from the industry, never to be heard from again. Who was that for you?

Two names come to mind immediately. From WCW/WWE, Sean O’Haire seemed like the can’t-miss star and legend. And in TNA, I felt like Crimson was a future World Champion and big star. Unfortunately, O’Haire was a victim of his own demons and backstage politics. As for Crimson, after a 170-day undefeated streak, he lost a match to James Storm and then suffered a knee injury. He returned later to TNA and then, more recently, worked in the NWA, but he’s never been the same.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
