Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

TNA looks set to be signing a new media rights deal, and all signs point to AMC. Thoughts?

AMC, the home of The Walking Dead, is a good choice. They have a built-in audience already in place, and if TNA were to go there and present a good product, the fans will come. TWD is proof of that. And who doesn’t want to see Darryl at the Impact Zone? This sounds good for TNA.

Maxxine Dupri wants to see “Total Divas” make a comeback, with a cast made up of new wrestlers and returning faces. Would you like to see Total Divas return, and who would you like to see on it?

I didn’t watch the show before, and I highly doubt that I’d watch it now if it were to make a return. But it was popular television, and if WWE wants to go that route again and make that show, so be it. Go for it. As for who I’d have as the featured talent, how about Maxxine, Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Nikki Bella, Chelsea Green, and Charlotte Flair?

Joe Hendry records music. R-Truth has a great new album out. So, Truth versus Hendry, fighting over a Gold Record in a ladder match? Yes or no?

That sounds so WCW, but I’d watch it happen. Or even better, Joe Hendry and R-Truth as a tag team? Say their names and they appear, except when Truth gets lost or mixes the cities up. My bad!

Do you think three-hour SmackDown episodes are good for business?

Three hours is just too long for any single show or event. I like what RAW does, where they usually clock in at 2 1/2 hours of show, but 1/3 of that is commercials. If the show is good, three hours is hard, but manageable. If it drags, then three hours is way too much.

Dolph Ziggler is back in WWE. Thoughts?

From all reports, it was a one-off appearance, but it was exciting to see. And Dolph got the amazing pop from the live crowd. As with Zack Ryder a few days earlier, they each got a merch deal out of the spot. And honestly, I hope that this isn’t the last time those two gentlemen appear. It was a really cool moment.

During RAW on Netflix, I noticed several commercials featuring Shaquille O’Neal. This is less than a week after Tony Khan mentioned that he’d love to have Shaq back in AEW. Coincidence? Thoughts?

Purely a coincidence and nothing more. Do you really think WWE would be that petty?

So, Charlotte Flair is back on Team Rhea? Thoughts?

But now, the seeds have been planted for a Rhea versus Charlotte program down the line, and also, if Charlotte turns on her team at WarGames, the seeds have been planted for that as well. And most importantly, it has us talking about what has been an underwhelming match with little build or reason for being. If for no other reason, the Charlotte dissension with Rhea makes sense for that.

Thoughts on Dominik Mysterio being the opponent for John Cena at Survivor Series. Right pick or wrong pick?

Dom is easily one of the biggest stars in WWE right now, and all signs point towards him as a huge part of the future of WWE. Makes sense to me. This is a good pick to face Cena in his final program of a long and storied career.

So is Cena never gonna appear on WWE TV again? I get he’s not wrestling anymore after this year, but is the implied notion that he won’t even appear on TV again?

Cena may not ever wrestle a match again, but I expect we’ll see him as part of WWE, making appearances and doing promotional stuff, for many, many years to come. I don’t see where you’re getting any other kind of message. Cena is one of the few I honestly feel will always be WWE for Life, wrestling or not.

Is Gunther gonna be Cena’s last opponent?

I think so. Yes.
