I saw your review of the movie “The Unbreakable Bunch.” Love that movie. If you could make an Unbreakable Bunch II, who would you cast as the stars?

I’d keep Ray Lloyd (Glacier) and Ernest “The Cat” Miller, but I’d round out the rest of the group with Heath Slater, Danhausen, Hornswoggle, Jimmy Valiant, Missy Hyatt, and Billy Gunn.

Paul Wight (The Big Show) returned to AEW at Full Gear and laid out Trent Beretta with the KO punch. Thoughts?

Wight worked as an announcer for the first match, and then did the punch. I don’t know if this is just a one-off for Wight or a more permanent return to the company and TV. Welcome home, Show.

Bret Hart recently claimed that he thinks Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels were lovers. Thoughts?

That has been a rumor for years, and given all we’ve learned about Vince over the past few years, it would hardly be surprising to anyone if it were proven to be true. But Bret is just talking to be talking and isn’t offering any proof. Only speculation at this point. So take it for what it is, a rumor.

What were your thoughts on AEW Full Gear? How would you rate the show on a scale of 1 to 10?

A long show, with lots of moments, but few are actually memorable past the actual happening. We have a lot of title switches, a heel turn, a babyface turn, and life goes on.

Samoa Joe is the new AEW Champion, and Mark Briscoe is the new AEW TNT Champion. Thoughts?

I think I predicted Joe winning the big belt. I was off about Briscoe, but it seems as if AEW is finally ready to take a chance on Briscoe and give him a try as a champion. I’m glad I was wrong. Congratulations to the two new champs.

Bret Hart says Sheamus’ punches are an embarrassment. Thoughts?

Bret says a lot of things. He’s a bitter old man. I’ll bet he approves of Sheamus more than Bill Goldberg. I also doubt that Sheamus is losing any sleep over what Bret thinks of his punching style.

The Lucha Brothers are reunited and will be facing Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano at a future AAA event. Thoughts?

We knew it was just a matter of time before Penta and Rey Fenix were back together on the WWE roster. And the time is now. Penta and Fenix versus Dom and El Grande Americano? That should be an excellent match and a possible feud. I’m looking forward to seeing it.

Ricochet is the new and inaugural AEW National Champion. Thoughts?

Well, they had to give him a title eventually. After all, nearly everyone else on the AEW roster already has a belt, so why not Ric? In all seriousness, he’s a good pick for the inaugural champion. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Congratulations to the new AEW National Champion.
