Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Jim Ross says that Bob Caudle deserves a WWE Hall of Fame induction. Thoughts?

Bob never worked for the WWE, so I doubt it will ever happen, but yes. I agree 100%. Considering the legacy that Caudle leaves behind, plus the number of wrestlers that grew up watching Bob, and count him among their influences, I’d say a first-round HOF Induction is certainly well deserved.

Do you see Dom winning the IC title back from Cena? I think it would certainly add fuel to the rocket for Dom. Or do you see the match as possibly a backdrop for more Judgement Day issues?

I’d like to see Dom lie, cheat, and steal, using Judgment Day, plus the alliance with the Americanos, to find a way to get the title back from Cena. It won’t hurt Cena, plus it keeps the IC lineage straight instead of a vacated title after Cena’s last match, if he were to win. It just makes more sense to me.

Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano now have an official tag team name, Los Gringos Locos 2.0. So, is Dom through with Judgment Day? And will he and Americano be challenging for the WWE World Tag Team titles? It will cause problems with Judgment Day down the line, but for now, it’s just a good promotional move for Dom’s AAA appearances, plus it gives Dom more allies in his efforts to become the King of Lucha Libre.

What do you think about Tony Chimel leaving AEW? Do you believe AEW should have done more with him?

I didn’t even know Tony was in AEW. I always assumed that he was WWE for life. No, AEW didn’t use him properly or enough. If they had, we would have noticed his presence. Hopefully, Tony can return to WWE, or maybe even go to TNA. He’s too good an announcer to ignore for long.

The third AEW Continental Classic tournament will begin on “Dynamite” and continue on the Thanksgiving edition of “Collision”. Are you excited for the return of the Continental Classic?

We just had a Gauntlet match for a new title, and this tournament for the Women’s Tag Team Championship is taking forever. And now, another meaningless tournament that does what exactly? I had forgotten this event even exists. So no, I am not excited. It’s just too much nothing all happening at once.

Stephanie McMahon recently admitted that her oldest daughter, Aurora, has done some training with Natalya and wants to run WWE Creative one day. Thoughts?

And when she succeeds, she’ll be the first fourth-generation wrestler in WWE. Aurora is 19 years old, so there is plenty of time for her to accomplish her goals. She’s a McMahon, so I’d never underestimate her or count her out.

If WWE finally builds a physical Hall of Fame, what would you like to see inside? Where should it be located? Thoughts?

Inside, I’d be looking for props, robes, boots, and all the small things that made wrestling so important and stand out. Tributes to the talent inducted into the HOF, plus displays and videos featuring the territories and legends of the past who made an impact. As for where, right now, Las Vegas seems to be the ideal location for a permanent structure.

What are some finishing moves that you feel would be natural or realistic to do and cause damage?

Based on my own limited fighting experience. The short-armed clothesline can be quite effective. A front facelock works, and a DDT works well too. A spinebuster is good, and for a finisher, the Cobra Clutch or a figure-four can have a crippling effect and secure a victory in a street struggle.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
