Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Becky Lynch says there used to be a male superstar who had blacklisting power. “There was a guy on the main roster who was like, ‘Be careful, because one, he’ll try to sleep with you. If he sleeps with you, then he’ll blacklist you. If he tries to sleep with you and you don’t sleep with him, he’ll also blacklist you.’” Thoughts?

And now, the speculation begins. The idea that there’s a casting couch in WWE isn’t a surprise, especially given what we’ve learned about Vince McMahon over the past few years. So, who is the guilty party? Becky didn’t say, so all we can do is guess. And my guess? Based on the time frame, who would influence to get people fired, and who is reputed to be a ho’ dog, I think it may be Batista. No proof, but that’s who my gut says. So, who do you think it is? Let me know in the comments.

Claudio Castagnoli defeated Gran Guerrero and is the NEW CMLL World Heavyweight Champion! Thoughts?

This is Claudio’s first singles title since WWE, isn’t it? Congratulations to the former Cesaro.

Who are, in your opinion, the best male and best female wrestlers in AEW?

Who do I enjoy watching perform, and who are actually good talents? In my opinion, it would be Claudio Castagnoli and Athena.

Kevin Nash versus Blackjack Mulligan. Who wins?

Kevin is a big and tough guy, but he’s not an ex-Marine who went toe to toe with Andre the Giant and knocked out Ole Anderson, legit—Blackjack Mulligan with the victory.

War Games Match: The Horsemen (Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger) versus The Vision (Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre). Who wins?

This would be an epic encounter. Just imagine James J. Dillon and Paul Heyman scuffling on the outside of the cage, while the Horsemen and The Vision battle inside the two steel cages. It’s a tough call, but I have to think The Vision would win this one.

Stephanie McMahon says she will co-host WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event with Joe Tessitore for John Cena’s last match. Thoughts?

Jesse Ventura is gone, so Stephanie takes his spot. So long as she’s doing the opening bit with Tessitore and not trying to call play-by-play action, it should be okay.

How would you rank WWE Survivor Series on a scale of 1 to 5?

It was about as I had expected. I’d give it a 4.

Liv Morgan is back. Thoughts?

It was a nice surprise, and I’m glad to see Liv back. And now, we get to see how well Roxanne and Liv get along as part of Judgment Day, with Raquel and Dom stuck in the middle. Things are fixing to pick up.

Who was that masked man who gave CM Punk the curb stomp?

There’s a “theory” all over the internet today, and this “theory” has been reported and confirmed by several reputable sources that I actually trust, aka “Not Meltzer”. But my own “theory” is that the masked man who went after CM Punk is AEW’s Jungle Boy. Cry me a river! My “theory” may be wrong, but I’m going with that for now.

It took the entire Judgment Day to defeat John Cena and return the IC title to Dom. How would you follow up on this for RAW on Monday?

If I were booking RAW, I’d have Dom and Judgment Day celebrate at the opening of RAW, and have Cena show up unexpectedly and crash the party. And make a challenge. For the main event of RAW, since all of Judgment Day wanted a piece of Cena, how about a Survivor Series elimination match with Judgment Day, all of the members, against Cena and five of his friends? So, it’d be Dom, Liv, Raquel, Roxanne, Finn, and JD versus Cena and five other RAW stars, two men and three women, in an Intergender Survivor Series Elimination Match. Talk about a major match, a pop for the ratings, and a big moment for the fans. But I’m not part of WWE, and I’m not a booker. There is no telling what will happen on Monday.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
