WWE will present the 2025 NXT Deadl1ne PPV on Saturday from San Antonio, Texas, on Peacock and internationally on Netflix. And you know what that means. It’s prediction time. Let’s roll.

NXT Championship
Oba Femi vs. Ricky Saints (c).

This should be an epic match. I don’t see the belt changing hands, though. Saints is really just getting started, and I think he’s safe as the champion for at least a few more months. I think Femi is just killing time until the Royal Rumble and a move to the main roster.

Winner and STILL NXT Champion: Ricky Saints.

Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge: Myles Borne vs. TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Joe Hendry vs. NXT Tag Team Champion Dion Lennox (Winner challenges for the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil).

In five years from now, I can see most of these guys as main roster stars, and this line-up headlining an Elimination Champber PPV. This should be an excellent match. Let’s just go with the gut here. I’m going with Leon Slater. I don’t know why, but it just feels right.

Winner: Leon Slater.

Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge: Sol Ruca vs. Lola Vice vs.Kelani Jordan vs. Jordynne Grace vs. EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey (Winner challenges for the NXT Women’s Championship at New Year’s Evil).

Thus far, Jordynne Grace has failed to make the transition from former TNA Knockouts Champion to a top star in NXT. It’s time for that to change. To steal a line from a top guy on the main roster, I think that her time is now.

Winner: Jordynne Grace.

Tatum Paxley vs. Izzi Dame.

It’s not even close here. Paxley is the current flavor of the month. She’s winning this one.

Winner: Tatum Paxley.

NXT North American Championship
Ethan Page (c) versus Mr. Iguana.

Mr. Iguana is a fun character, and he’s capable of some entertaining moves, but can you honestly see him as a top singles champion in WWE or NXT? Me neither. Look for the champ to retain.

Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: All Ego Ethan Page.
