Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

What are your thoughts on TNA Final Resolution? How would you rate it on a scale of 1 to 5?

I didn’t watch the show, but I did watch the highlights on YouTube, plus followed along with PWInsider as they recapped the event. It sounded like a solid event, with plenty of surprises. I’ll give it a 3.75.

What are your thoughts on ROH Final Battle? How would you rate it on a scale of 1 to 5?

Again, I didn’t watch the show, but followed along on PWInsider, plus watched the highlights on YouTube. Less chaotic than the usual AEW/ROH event, and there was some good action, especially with Nigel and Lee Moriarty. It was more wrestling than the usual insanity, and that makes a difference. I’ll give it a 4.

The Righteous, Dutch and Vincent, debuted at TNA Final Resolution, and are allegedly there to challenge The Hardys. Thoughts?

Dutch and Vincent are a talented team that AEW wasn’t sure what to do with. Hopefully, they’ll have more opportunities in TNA and NXT to move to the next level. With the new TV deal, things in TNA are picking up.

One week from today, John Cena is retiring from pro wrestling. How are you feeling?

I’m not really feeling anything. I’d pretty much written Cena off several years ago when he moved to a part-time schedule, and while I’ve especially enjoyed the interactions with Dominik Mysterio, once he’s gone, I’ll just move on, business as usual, and another day at the office.

Bayley vs NXT’s Sol Ruca is set for Saturday Night’s Main Event! Plus, Cody Rhodes will face either Oba Femi or Ricky Saints. Thoughts?

Both of these potential matches sound good and should be exciting. I’m hoping that this means Femi is moving to the main roster full-time, plus we might get to see Cody versus Ricky Saints. I’m looking forward to these matches.

Deonna Purrazzo is the inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Champion! Thoughts?

And didn’t I call it in my predictions? I sure did. Congratulations to Deonna, and here’s to a long and exciting run as the new ROH Pure Champion.

THE TERROR TWINS ARE BACK! It’s Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley vs Aleister Black & Zelina next week on SmackDown. Would you like to see Damian and Rhea challenge Chelsea Green and Ethan Page for the AAA Mixed Tag Team titles?

Rhea and Priest have great chemistry and work so well together; this should make for an epic match and reunion next week on SmackDown. As for seeing Priest and Rhea challenge Chelsea and Page, it works for me. I wouldn’t object.

ROH TV Champion Nick Wayne has been out of action since August with a foot injury. Should ROH strip him of the title or appoint an interim champion?

Honestly, I had forgotten about Wayne and the whole ROH TV title, alliance with Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian, etc. AEW seems to have different standards for each title regarding injuries. Some are ignored, while others have interim champions. But then again, a TV Champion for a brand that doesn’t have television has always struck me as odd anyhow. Here’s wishing Wayne a speedy recovery.

Sammy Guevara and RUSH vacated the ROH World Tag Titles due to an injury to RUSH. Now Sammy has recaptured the title with The Beast Mortos as his partner. Thoughts?

I’m glad to see Sammy wearing gold. He’s not quite what he used to be, but baby Luna needs new toys, and champions make more money, or so they say.

Red Velvet beat Mercedes Moné to become the 2-time ROH Women’s World Television Champion. Thoughts?

I guess now that Mone has more or less maxed out with thirteen titles, it’s time for her to start dropping a few of the belts and helping to build new stars. At least, that’s the theory. Congratulations to Red Velvet.

If they do, everyone in MFT vs everyone in Wyatt Sicks who goes against Nikki Cross?

Nikki will either stay outside the ring and get the occasional cheap shots. Or, if the MFTs need a woman, Tamina is still on the WWE roster. Nia is a possibility as well, but she’s busy with Lash Leroux and going after the tag team titles. I’m sure there are plenty of females in the family who could be brought in to counter Nikki, but Tamina still seems to be the best option.
