Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Hannibal, of all people, called out Ric Flair for his comments about Hulk Hogan’s death, and for consistent lies and embellishments online. Flair responded with belittling statements and insults. Thoughts?

Even a broken clock is correct twice a day, and the famed Blood Hunter known as Hannibal called out Ric Flair for his comments towards Hulk Hogan and his behavior over the past few years. And Ric, still the Nature Boy, shoots back with personal insults and derogatory remarks. And guess what? They’re both right. Flair is full of shit, and Hannibal is a piece of shit. If you want to read the comments yourself, go to Flair’s X account and embrace the stupidity. Oy vey!

Do you think WWE will let Penta return to AAA for Guerra de Titanes? Or should he stay focused on his recovery and WWE future?”

If Penta is medically cleared, WWE should allow him to wrestle at the AAA event and reform the Lucha Brothers with his brother, Fenix. Give the shoulder a test run at a significant event. It’s best for business.

Last week, Jey Uso had a meltdown because he’s been losing matches. This week, he’s all happy and ready to be a full-time tag team with his brother again. What am I missing here?

It’s confusing and makes no sense. This whole story with Jey seems like it’s just being thrown together with different writers taking over every other week. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out, but I don’t get it.

What was the 1st match, the 1st angle, or the first character you saw that turned you into a wrestling fan for life?

The first thing I remember seeing that made me realize I was hooked was The Mighty Igor throwing Crusher Jerry Blackwell around like a big basketball. And then, Blackjack Mulligan steps in for a promo about Flair or John Studd or someone… and I was hooked. I knew then that I would be a fan forevermore. And a hardcore fan I remain.

Jacob Fatu versus Roddy Piper. Who wins?

Piper would take the beating, fight back using every dirty trick in the book, and in the end, would outsmart Jacob and score a tainted win by count out or DQ. Piper wins.

LA Knight got destroyed on WWE RAW. What do you think is next for him?

A ready-made storyline when he’s ready to come back to work, a few weeks of vacation as The Vision does their thing with Punk, Rey, etc., and a huge return at the Royal Rumble, setting up something for WrestleMania.

John Cena has signed a 5-year Ambassador deal with the WWE. Thoughts?

This makes sense. Cena is too important to the WWE to just cut loose entirely, despite his retirement. A deal to keep him available as needed, when he’s available, is good business and makes much sense. They don’t want Cena popping up anywhere on Wednesday nights, right? Smart move, WWE.

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater have been announced for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Thoughts?

One more potential classic between the WWE and NXT, keeping with the theme of the night. It should be an excellent match and fun for all parties involved.

Leilani Kai versus Nikki Bella. Who wins?

Nikki can hit the high spots and work a decent match, but Leilani is a legend who has stared down stars like Moolah, Wendi Richter, and Sue Green, and walked out proudly, head held high. Nikki may wear a HOF ring, but Kai is the legend who would literally take her to school. Leilani Kai wins.

Do you think WWE will ever build a physical WWE Hall of Fame? Also, who are your early predictions for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026?

I would like to see WWE build a physical Hall of Fame, most likely in somewhere like Vegas. It would make sense, and I feel it could be a huge and long-term profitable project for them. As for the next Hall of Fame and the inductions, we already know we’re getting Stephanie McMahon. John Cena seems likely as well. I’d like to see it rounded out with Demolition, Leilani Kai, Mickie James, Cyndi Lauper, and William Regal. And if they do the Legacy stuff, I want to see Bob Caudle, The Andersons (Ole & Gene), Mighty Igor, Sweet Daddy Siki, The Midnight Express w/ Jim Cornette, and Penny Banner as the Inductees.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
