Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

AEW taped an episode of Dark this past weekend. Should they bring this show back?

It’s a nice bonus gift for the holidays and the AEW fans, but before they start adding shows for YouTube, AEW needs to make sure that Dynamite and Collision keep their spots first, plus find a home for ROH.

JD McDonagh is out of action for a while after having surgery. Thoughts?

JD has been a wrestling machine for quite a while now, and it seems to be catching up with him. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, JD. Get well soon.

Which company are you more excited to watch in 2026? AEW or WWE?

AEW is barely watchable for me, so WWE gets the nod here.

Bobby Lashley is legitimately injured. AEW hasn’t revealed the specifics, but it was said he’s going to miss quite a bit of time. Thoughts?

As with JD and WWE, Lashley is a wrestling machine, and I guess it’s catching up with him. Best wishes to the O’ Mighty for a painless and speedy recovery. Get well soon.

Actor/Director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, were murdered, allegedly by Reiner’smiddle son, Nick. Thoughts?

Bob Reiner was the director of The Princess Bride, so that’s why he gets a mention here. A talented actor and director. I didn’t agree withhis politics, but no one should die in this manner. Rest in Peace, Mr. and Mrs. Reiner.

Do you think WWE should book more events in locations like Puerto Rico to showcase local pride?

Different locations mean fresh audiences and different experiences for the events and the talent, and usually more interesting shows. Book’em, WWE.

What do you think? Is Matt Riddle really a better all-around pro wrestler than Brock Lesnar? Matt says that he is.

I think Riddle is a decent, legit fighter and a talented wrestler, but he’s not Brock Lesnar, nor is he in Brock’s league. Riddle is just lying to himself.

Mick Foley on Donald Trump: “How any of my WWE colleagues can stand by, let alone stand next to this man, is beyond me”. Thoughts?

That’s Mick’s opinion, and he’s entitled to his beliefs. He’s just wrong.

Should either WWE or TNA bring back the Wrestle Rock Rumble PPV?

No, let’s leave that memory and that great musical intro in the past, where it belongs.

Who is overall a better/vicious heel? Gunther or JBL?

The wrestling god or the Ring General. It’s a tough call, but I’ll go with Gunther on this one.

Which wrestler had the better retirement match: Sting or John Cena?

I can’t even remember who Sting’s last match was against. Wasn’t it him and Darby in a tag match? Cena wrestled the singles match, so I’ll go with John Cena for this one.

R-Truth says his newly renewed WWE contract may be his final one before retirement. Thoughts?

Keywords, “may be”. Even if Truth quits wrestling, he’ll still have a Legend’s deal and could work as an agent, trainer, or WWE Ambassador. I don’t think Truth will leave the WWE family, even if he retires as a wrestler. He’s too popular for WWE to let go entirely. And that is the truth.

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated. Reach me by e-mail at Doug28352@yahoo.com or on X at @Doug28352. I’ll see you at the matches.
