Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Did you watch AAA Guerra de Titanes on YouTube? Thoughts?

I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Parts were a bit too choreographed for my tastes, especially in the first match, the multi-team gour-way event, but the show was different, moved fast, and never stopped. Corey Graves, with JBL and Konnan, makes a great announce team and could easily do RAW or SmackDown, if needed. It was six great, fast-paced matches, some storyline progression that will affect RAW tonight, and the return and an actual place for Omos. What more can one ask for?

Do you think that WWE regrets signing R-Truth to that new contract since they have not really used him since then?

Considering the reaction Truth gets with every appearance, plus merchandise sales, I doubt there are any regrets at all.

2025 is the first year since 2001 that there hasn’t been a Hell in a Cell match. Thoughts?

I hadn’t even noticed, but it makes sense. The situation and story should determine the use for a match like HIAC or WarGames, and not the story being progressed to use the match. This helps make HIAC special again. Good for WWE.

It seems that Dominik Mysterio may have suffered a legit injury at the AAA event, possibly a shoulder injury. Thoughts?

As of right now, Monday afternoon, Dom is still listed for the upcoming post-Christmas WWE tour, so hopefully, it’s just a bump and nothing serious. We’ll probably learn more tonight on RAW.

Los Psycho Circus won the Carnival of Carnage against The Wyatt Sicks. So, are they now the top contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship? Thoughts?

The Clowns are the AAA Tag Team Champions, and they won a crazy and chaotic fight on their home turf. The Wyatts have laid them out on past occasions, so in my book, they’re somewhat even right now. The Clowns versus The Wyatts with both sets of tag team belts on the line? That sounds good to me. Hey Nick Aldis, nook it.

Who is the most underrated WWE talent of 2025?

Looking at the current roster, I have to go with my boy, JD McDonagh. He’s easily the best in-ring talent for Judgment Day, and yet, he still takes most of the losses. The guy is very skilled, and though size may be an issue at some point, I see plenty of championship gold in his future. The kid is a star waiting to explode on the WWE programming.

Do you think AEW dropped the ball on Danhausen?

Danhausen was under a contract for what? Two years? And he was only used on television maybe three times. And despite that, he remains even now one of the top merchandise sellers for AEW. Danhausen isn’t a great wrestler, but he is a great character. Use him as the R-Truth of the brand, for most of the comedy and WTF moments. Did AEW drop the ball? Absolutely, for sure.

After losing the boxing match, do you think Jake Paul will be trying pro wrestling instead?

After a big loss and a broken jaw, I’m sure Jake Paul might be speaking to his brother, Logan, about WWE possibilities. It absolutely has to be part of the conversation. And if Jake could do half as well as his brother, there would be plenty of opportunities for Jake in the WWE. I’m sure they’d love to have him come aboard.
