Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
If you’d pick one UPCOMING STAR to shock the world and win the Women’s Royal Rumble, who would that be?
I’d have a surprise from TNA entering the Rumble and winning. And her name? Tessa Blanchard.
Who deserves to be called the number two wrestling company today — AEW or TNA? Do you agree with Ric Flair or Chris Jericho?
Currently, I would have to say AEW, strictly based on perception and revenue. But if TNA’s new television deal works out, that ranking will quickly change, and TNA will gain that spot.
Bulldog Brower versus Rusev. Who wins?
Brower was a great character and solid performer in the ’70s and early ’80s, but he was 95% character and not a great wrestler. Rusev is more athletic and a better in-ring talent, and would win, then celebrate with his favorite holiday, Rusev Day.
Devon Nicholson, aka Hannibal, has threatened to crash the upcoming birthday celebration for Abdullah the Butcher. Thoughts?
Hannibal is talking shit, but he doesn’t have the balls. I hope he does decide to show up at the event and make an appearance. I expect the reception he would receive would be epic, and definitely not go in his favor.
How do you think AEW can improve its storytelling?
Get rid of Tony and hire writers.
Who is the most protected wrestler ever, but still not believable?
For the past couple of years, Mercedes Mone. Her skills and match quality have fallen so much since leaving WWE. Nothing about her is believable anymore.
Scott Hall versus Stan Hansen. Who wins?
Hey yo! One more for the bad guy. One more loss, that is. Stan Hansen wins.
Is Maxxine Dupri a future World Champion?
She may be at some point, but she needs to improve quite a bit more before she is ready for that honor or place on the roster.
