Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

I took a few days off, so this is a deluxe edition, as I’m playing catch-up in the countdown to 5000. Enjoy.

Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Mone to capture the AEW TBS title. Thoughts?

Mone has started to drop a few titles, and Willow begins her time as a singles star. Sounds excellent to me. Congratulations to Willow.

Do you think AEW should bring in more legends?

SgouldAEW destroy more legacies and reputations? Unless there is a good reason, why bother?

What do you think Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell think of AEW signing Maya World and Hyan in the wake of that team stepping up when they walked out of an AEW taping?

I’m sure they’ll say that they’re happy for them and congratulate them, at least in public. Behind the scenes, I’m sure they feel like the victims and are asking, Why me?

Do the Jumping Bomb Angels belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

This shouldn’t even be a question. Yes, they belong, and an induction is long overdue.

WWE Studios will no longer produce scripted feature films, such as The Marine. Thoughts?

I’m not surprised at this, but when was the last time they made a movie? And given their partnership with Netflix, a movie company isn’t needed. It’s the end of an era, but makes sense.

Vince Russo says he would not take a job with WWE even if they offered him millions of dollars. Thoughts?

Russo says that, but I’m sure if Triple H were to call him and tell him to come to RAW, Russo would be there double fast.

WWE has moved most of its PLE events to Netflix. Thoughts?

They’ve moved most of the WWE stuff, like Mania and the bigger PLE events. The other stuff, like WCW, ECW, and Crockett, is currently in limbo. Those great days of The Network are through. Hopefully, it’ll all be back eventually somewhere, but until then, we just have to enjoy what we’re being given.

EC3 has left the NWA. So, what’s next? AEW, TNA, or WWE? Thoughts?

I hope that EC3 goes to the WWE, as he is everything that a person would want in a WWE Superstar. His earlier run was a bust, but honestly, with Vince McMahon in charge, I don’t think WWE knew what to do with an established character created by someone else. I think he’d do much better now with the current writers and administration.

Matt Hardy is dropping hints about The Hardys versus The Usos versus The New Day at WrestleMania. Thoughts?

That sounds like a Mania-level match to me. Book it, Triple H.

Name ONE feud you would like to see in 2026.

How about Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green versus Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch versus The Miz and Maryse? Admit it. That would be AWESOME! Woo woo woo, you know it!

Matt Cardona is back in the WWE. How long before he’s joined by Curt Hawkins?

Given WWE’s partnership and affiliation with TNA, Cardona bringing Hawkins in for a match or two could certainly happen. But, right now, I’d love to see Matt teaming with Chelsea’s partner, Ethan Page, maybe challenging for some tag team gold. That would be pretty cool.

Tommaso Ciampa is reportedly planning to leave WWE when his contract expires. Thoughts?

I can understand this, as his role on SmackDown seems to be vanishing, but I’m sure if WWE offers enough money, he’ll stick around. Ciampa would do well in AEW for a while if he decided to go that route, but in the long term, I think he’d be good to transition to an agent or trainer after his current employment ends. Ciampa still has a lot to offer pro wrestling, and regardless of what he decides to do, he’ll be fine.

Stone Cold Steve Austin is doing an interview with Chris Van Vliet next week. Thoughts?

Chris has been getting all the big interviews as of late, and his show is a great format for any wrestler or performer to enjoy the spotlight and get their story out there. The timing for Austin is interesting, though. It kind of makes me wonder if Steve wants to plant the seeds for something big or special, like maybe an appearance in Las Vegas later this year. I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out next week. I’m sure it will be an excellent interview and moment for ol’ Stone Cold.
