The Butcher and The Blade are back in AEW. Thoughts?

Unless they have Allie, aka The Bunny, with them, I don’t care. They were barely relevant four years ago, and now, they’ll matter even less. They’ll wrestle a few weeks, get a pop, and then hang out with Aaron Solow and Griff Garrison in catering. Sad, but probably true.

TNA Impact has made its debut on AMC. Thoughts?

Three matches, over thirty minutes of commercials, and nobody knows who anyone is. I’ve seen the reviews and watched several clips. I’m not impressed.

Elayna Black (Cora Jade) is back in TNA, and Daria Rae (Sonvya Deville) has debuted. Thoughts?

They’re there with new names, no backstory, and no explanation why. I’m glad they’re both working, and Sonya has always been a favorite of mine, but the way these ladies were introduced was totally a failed effort.

Who are our top five favorite wrestlers of all time?

This varies from time to time, but Bobby Eaton, The Masked Superstar, Blackjack Mulligan, The Anderson Brothers (Ole & Gene), and Baron Von Raschke, subject to change, of course.

The IInspiration is planning to leave TNA when their contracts expire. They dropped the Women’s Tag Team Championship on the debut episode of Impact on AMC. Thoughts?

From what I understand, the match on Thursday was their last match with TNA, and they dropped the titles on their way out, as they should. What Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay are up too next, I have no idea, but there is said to be interest from WWE, and as hot as the tag team division currently is for the women, a WWE return seems likely. We’ll just have to watch and see, but this is a big loss for TNA in my opinion.

Do you think WWE should have two world champions?

It works, and with two brands, it makes sense. Two champions for now is the right thing to do.

Would you want to see AJ Styles have one final TNA match?

If it makes sense and is a good match, then do it. AJ will always be, to me, a TNA guy anyhow, so a match or two in TNA before retiring seems logical. I’d like to see it happen.

Which dream match excites you more: Jeff Hardy vs. Roman Reigns, The Hardys vs. Street Profits, or a cinematic showdown with The Usos?

None of these excite me very much, but between the three, the match against The Usos makes the most sense, and I’d probably enjoy that more than the others.

Are you going to be checking out season 3 of WWE LFG?

I’ll read the recaps, watch the highlights on YouTube, and follow the show, but that’s more for professional reasons than anything else.

Did WWE’s Seth Rollins injury angle work you, or did you see it coming a mile away?

It was one of those moments where I believed, but it didn’t feel 100% to me. I had a feeling, but I didn’t see any logic or purpose for faking anything. Yeah, they got me.

Who are the coolest wrestlers you’ve ever met in person?

I’ve met many over the years. The coolest? Michael Youngblood, Ethan Storm, Derk Douglas, and Chris Steele. And if I’m naming names, Greg Valentine, Baby Doll, Ann Casey, Penny Banner, and Brian Adams.

While doing an interview, Natalya issued a challenge for Trish Stratus and one more match. Would you like to see Trish come back and face Nattie?

I’m not a fan of Trish coming back, and she has nothing to prove to anyone. But against Nattie? That actually sparks my interest, and if she were to return for one last match, this should be the one. I’d enjoy seeing it.
