Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
If CM Punk got inducted into the HOF, who do you think should induct him?
Colt Cabana? Okay, maybe not. Ace Steele or AJ Lee would be cool. Maybe Samoa Joe?
Do you think Britt Baker will ever wrestle in AEW again? What about Keith Lee?
At this point, I doubt either of them will ever wrestle again, much less in AEW. Lee has been out of action for nearly three years, and we still don’t know why. And Baker? I guess that when her AEW contract finally expires, and she’s set free, we may see her again inside that ring, but my gut says that the longer she’s away, the less likely she’ll ever step back in the ring. I might be wrong. I hope that I am, but I doubt it.
Is there still interest in Rock vs Roman, or has that ship sailed?
Roman is extremely part-time, and The Rock is even more out of sight, out of mind, than that. I think that ship has sailed.
Do you think that WWE will ever bring back Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler on a part-time schedule?
So long as Ziggler stays healthy, I think a return to WWE is always a possibility. As for Danielson, between the loyalty to AEW and his physical health, I doubt he’ll ever be in a WWE ring again. He wouldn’t be able to get medically cleared.
Do you think it’s possible AJ Styles loses a career match to Gunther but wins the Rumble and goes to WrestleMania?
It’s possible, but highly unlikely.
Who are your Favorite Black, White, Asian, and Hispanic Female WWE Wrestlers of All Time?
Why does race matter? It shouldn’t, but I’ll answer anyway. Black? Big Mama from GLOW. I’m just kidding. Jacquiline? White? Ivory. Asian? Asuka. And Hispanic? Let’s go with Raquel Rodriguez.
Rey Mysterio reportedly suffered a legit injury during his match against Austin Theory on RAW. It looks like the right knee again. Thoughts?
It was a good match, but Rey is fifty years old, and he’s already had five surgeries on that knee. I’ve also heard that it may be his shoulder. But regardless of what body part, none of us is immortal, and sooner or later, time will come to settle dues. I hope Rey is okay, and best wishes for a full recovery. That being said, maybe Rey should consider retirement.
Do you agree that Kevin Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey are AEW’s two best signings ever?
They may claim that distinction, but I can think of at least a dozen that were better for AEW, including Sting, CM Punk, MJF, FTR, Christian, Hook, Swerve Strickland, and hell, even Sasha Banks. So no, I don’t agree.
What’s your take on Jimmy Uso missing WWE RAW this week? Did you miss seeing him on the show?
Jimmy has personal issues to deal with, most likely his wife, Naomi, and her high-risk pregnancy. The family and real life have to come first. And to be honest, I barely noticed his absence, both this week and last. Jey had it all covered.
