Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host, guiding light, and the man with the best mullet since Billy Ray Cyrus. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

Nia Jax versus Awesome Kong. Who wins?

Surprisingly, I think this could be a good match. Either really good or really bad. The size comparison intrigues me. Kong is the better all-around grappler, but Nia has her moments. Awesome Kong would win.

33 years ago today, Andre the Giant passed away. What are your thoughts and memories of The Giant?

I had the chance to see Andre wrestle live in Lumberton, NC, back in, I think 1979, against John Studd. Andre was a big guy/ He was massive. The match wasn’t much to speak of. Andre won by DQ when he was thrown over the top rope. Andre had that aura, and he was truly a wonder to behold. I wasn’t impressed by the match as it was a by-the-numbers match, with nothing special except for the sheer size of the two men. But I’m glad I had the chance to see Andre live, even if it was only once.

Do you want to see Ciampa in NJPW, back on the indies full-time, or eventually landing in AEW?

For the money alone, AEW is the best shot, but I think he’ll work the independents for at least a year first.

The Mulligans (Blackjack Mulligan, Barry Windham, Kendall Windham, Mike Rotundo, Bo Dallas, and Bray Wyatt) versus The Von Erichs (Fritz, Kevin, Kerry, David, Mike, and Lance). Who wins?

That would be a lot of claws and Texas brawling going on in this match. Talk about pure chaos. Grandpa Blackjack and the Windham family win.

According to Triple H, there are plenty of surprises planned for the Men’s Royal Rumble matches. Who do you think will be the surprises?

Brock Lesnar, Tiffany Stratton, and Chad Gable are the most obvious ones. We should also see the debut of Powerhouse Hobbs, or whatever they’re calling him now. As for real surprises, how about Mr. Iguana, Chris Jericho, and Dolph Ziggler?

It appears that JBL may be making an in-ring comeback for JCW. Thoughts?

I can’t see JBL doing more than a one-shot, but he’s a big star, still in decent shape, and still has a strong presence in wrestling. I guess The Insane Clown Posse has too much money to throw away, and JBL is just happy to take it. A few punches and a clothesline from hell for big bucks? Good for Bradshaw.

If you could open a restaurant with any wrestler, past or present, who would your business partner be?

I’d open a Dairy Queen with Jim Cornette as my business partner.

If Jim Cornette were to come out of retirement and manage again, what wrestlers would you like to see him aligned with?

Up until a year or so ago, I would have said FTR, but FTR isn’t what they were even a year ago. Too much AEW Kool-Aid. I’d want to see Cornette feud against Paul Heyman and The Vision, so for Team Cornette, I’d have Dom, Finn, JD, and Judgment Day.

Dean Malenko versus Chad Gable. Who wins?

This would be an epic match and a real-life clinic on mat wrestling. This match would be fantastic. I think Malenko would win this event.

Who was the greatest ever Native American wrestler?

The man, the myth, the legend, Michael Youngblood. If this business were fair, and if the territories were still alive, all of you would know Michael and realize just how good he is. But Michael didn’t always play well with others, and his career was only a fraction of what it should have been. So, if not Michael, I’d say either Wahoo McDaniel or Jack Brisco. A tough call, but I’ll have to say Jack Brisco.

Erase one forever: Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, John Cena, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, or Randy Savage.

This is a very tough call. Any of these men being removed would change wrestling forever. Hard choice, but I’ll say Randy Savage.
