It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your resident party host and Guiding Light. Let’s roll.

Darby Allin is replacing Eddie Kingston at the Double or Nothing Anarchy at the Arena match. Thoughts?

How has Darby been medically cleared after a broken foot, a broken nose, and being hit by a bus? I can’t see this going well. While Darby is a big enough AEW star to replace Kingston in this match, there had to be other options. Give this dude a chance to heal up. Stick Sammy Guevera or Jeff Hardy into the fourth spot. If Darby wrestles, it’s just a serious injury waiting to happen.

The Young Bucks fired Christopher Daniels while Jack Perry poured a drink over Tony Schiavone’s head on Dynamite. Thoughts?

The drink incident with Tony Schiavone was unnecessary. Firing Christopher Daniels makes sense, storyline-wise. I guess now we’ll just have to wait and see what happens next.

Should Sid Vicious be in the WWE Hall of Fame?

I’ve never really been a fan of Vicious, but how many World Championship titles has he held? Twice as the WCW Champion and twice as the WWE Champion. Sid has been a memorable character for both companies on many occasions. Yes, he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame.

What is your dishonest opinion about Chris Jericho?

Dishonest opinion? He’s the best in the world, just hitting his prime, always steals the show, and sings like a sparrow. For anyone who doesn’t agree, they just made the list.

Should Booker T work as the manager for Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair?

Booker has addressed this issue and doesn’t want the job. He doesn’t want to be a manager. And truthfully, Jade and Bianca don’t need him. If they’re to get a manager, MVP would be the best option, at least in my opinion.

Asuka is taking time off to heal up some injuries. Thoughts about the Empress of Tomorrow?

Asuka has been in the WWE for a long time working at or near the top. If she has injuries that need to heal, so be it. Let her go rest up, heal, and recharge, and when she’s ready to come back, she can do so and show all of the women in WWE that they’re not ready for Asuka. An Asuka/Rhea feud would be awesome. Just saying.

What’s your honest opinion on Scott Norton?

A big guy who’s extremely strong and very underrated. He was a huge star in Japan, but that success never seemed to carry over to the United States. Norton wasn’t the most charismatic personality, but he did his talking in the ring and rarely failed to impress. If I was going to a fight, Norton is one that I’d want watching my back. Stick this guy with a good talker for a manager and he could have easily been one of the best.

Give me 3 wrestlers that you would love to see have a feud with Kenny Omega.

How about Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre? Oh, wait, all three of these guys are in WWE. I guess Omega needs to bail on AEW and go to WWE. Works for me.

According to Konnan, Tony Khan had a meltdown a few months ago and forbade AEW talent from watching WWE. Thoughts?

For some reason, I’m not even surprised by this if it is true. Tony has so much on him, not only in wrestling but in his other jobs as well, I think he’s due a breakdown sooner rather than later. This sounds crazy, but it’s also very believable. And my thoughts? In the words of Ron Simmons, “DAMN!”.

What’s the first name that comes to mind when you think of TNA?

Jeff Jarrett. If it wasn’t for Jeff and his father Jerry, TNA would never have been created or existed.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, let’s wrap things up. Take care and be well, my friends. Watch out for ambushes in the parking lot and I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
