It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug and I’m your guiding light of wrestling Q&As. Let’s roll.

Jim Ross recently referred to Tony Khan as the “Alpha Male” of AEW. Thoughts?

Jim Ross works for Tony Khan and makes a very nice paycheck for doing next to nothing. What would you expect him to say? Ross is just kissing up a bit so when the contract expires, he’ll still have a job.

Speaking of Jim Ross, he also stated that he thinks there should be a physical WWE Hall of Fame. Thoughts?

On this, Ross is 100% correct. A physical WWE Hall of Fame would silence all of the critics, plus give the fans a chance to see pieces of wrestling history. Add a ring and it would make a great place to hold special events as well. WWE truly does need to do this, maybe in Orlando near the PC, and purchase a building for a true Hall of Fame.

Marshall Von Erich recently stated that he thinks he and his brother Ross will be signing with a major promotion soon. They’ve already worked MLW and had appearances in AEW and TNA. Where do you think the Von Erichs will end up?

I’d love to see Marshall and Ross end up in NXT. We’ve already seen them and had an example of how AEW would use them and it wasn’t very well. I’d like to see Triple H and HBK have a chance to work with these third-generation talents and turn them into the stars that they have the potential to be.

Do Shane and Stephanie McMahon belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Stephanie, for sure. That’s a no-brainer. Shane? Other than his last name, I really wouldn’t deem his career Hall of Fame worthy. He’ll probably end up with a spot at some point anyhow, but of the McMahon family, he would not be my first, second, or even third choice. Stephanie, Vince, and Linda should all go in first.

Who are some of the best pro wrestling minds that have died?

The first names that came to my mind were Ole Anderson, Dusty Rhodes, Eddie Gilbert, Scott Hall, and Pat Patterson.

Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat isn’t available. Who is “Macho Man” Randy Savage’s greatest rival?

It has to be either Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan. He had tremendous matches against both men. Diamond Dallas Page as well, but the Hogan and Flair matches are the first that come to mind. Let’s go with Ric Flair.

Do you think Bryan Danielson should have been AEW champion?

I didn’t realize it until you asked, but I thought he had been the champion. I’m very surprised that he has never been the AEW World Champion. The way his body is falling apart now, making him the champion wouldn’t make any sense, but a couple of years ago, he would have been excellent in that role. Can you imagine Danielson versus CM Punk or Danielson versus Omega over the World Championship? We missed out on a lot. Very sad.

Would you be down to see Finn Balor win MITB this summer?

I like Balor and it would make for an interesting twist to have Balor, a member of Judgment Day, having that contract available while his partner in crime, Damian Priest, is the current World Champion. That works for me. I’d like to see it. Either Balor or Dom would make for great MITB winners.

Mark Henry’s contract with AEW is set to expire before the end of May and as of yet has not been re-signed. Do you think “The World’s Strongest Man” will remain with AEW or make a return to WWE?

What does Mark Henry even do at AEW? I know he’s under an announcer’s contract, but they rarely use him and he spends more time working for the Busted Open program than doing anything AEW. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mark leave AEW, continue to work with Busted Open, and maybe go after a Legend’s Deal with WWE. That sounds like the best option to me.

Who do you think will win this highly anticipated & crazy boxing match between Iron Mike Tyson & The Problem Child Jake Paul?

I hope that Tyson knocks Jake Paul out. Tyson wins.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and any questions are welcome and appreciated. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe. And with that, I’m out of here. Take care friends and I’ll see you at the matches.
