WWE will present King and Queen of the Ring tomorrow, Saturday 5/25 on Peacock and the WWE Network from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Here are a few predictions on what will happen on Saturday.

Cody Rhodes versus Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

I kind of hate that the United States Championship was removed from the match stipulation, but I guess it makes the match better. Logan now is a heel with nothing to lose and everything to win. After hearing Cody speak about wanting a manager to counter Logan’s squad, I wonder if we’ll see a big debut. I’m sure that after the back-and-forth on Smackdown, we’ll see the brass knicks make an appearance. It should be a great match and I’m sure that Logan may take Cody to the limit. Cody should win and retain.

Winner and STILL Undisputed WWE Champion: Cody Rhodes

Becky Lynch versus Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.

As I’ve addressed several times in the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A, I have no desire to see Liv as the Women’s World Champion. I would love to see Becky kick her ass and maybe go on to feud with Nia or Iyo Sky, among others. But that being said, it makes more sense to see Liv with the title as they build to an eventual return of Rhea Ripley and Mami trying to get back the title she never lost. I hate it, but I think that Liv should walk away and win the title.

Winner and NEW Women’s World Champion: Liv Morgan

Lyra Valkyria versus Nia Jax for Queen of the Ring.

While Lyra is a talented woman and gets better each time she steps into the ring, the stipulation is that the winner gets a title shot at SummerSlam. Can you see Lyra Valkyria in the main event of such a huge PLE? No, I can’t either. Add that a heel makes a better “Queen” in the sense of a character and I have to go with Nia for this one.

Gunther versus Randy Orton for King of the Ring.

While Randy has never been the King of the Ring and it would be cool to see him finally get that honor, I have to go with Gunther for this one. With the new Bloodline currently in Saudi Arabia, even though they’re not involved in any matches on the show, I can see them making sure that Randy has a long night. And what kind of heel would Gunther be if he didn’t take advantage of any possible interference and distraction to win the match and the King of the Ring? Randy and Gunther should have an amazing match and I expect to see them attempt to steal the show. I expect that we’ll see shenanigans and at the end of the night, Gunther will be the man to wear the crown.

Winner and NEW WWE King of the Ring: Gunther

Sami Zayn versus Chad Gable versus Bronson Reed for the Intercontinental Championship.

It’s hard for me to imagine Sami Zayn losing the title, especially in Saudi Arabia, but my gut is saying that Gable is on fire, and I can see them making a switch. I hate seeing a champion lose in a three-way match, but if we get some interference from the Alpha Academy, who have no reason to help Gable, but may still be loyal to their leader, it would protect Zayn and be a great swerve to turn Otis, Tozawa and Dupri into a heel faction. I like Bronson and I’d love to see him eventually win some gold, but this match is about Gable and Sami. And Gable should win.

Winner and NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion: Chad Gable

Kickoff Show: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill versus Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

It’s not time for Bianca and Jade to lose the belts yet. Make the match competitive and tease some dissension between the two, but as good as LeRae and Indi are, they’re not ready for the titles as of yet. Look for Bianca and Jade to have some issues, but still retain in the end.

Winners and STILL WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill.

And there you go with my predictions for WWE King and Queen of the Ring, live from Saudi Arabia. So what do you think? What are your predictions? Let me know along with your comments, thoughts, and any questions. And with that, I’m out of here. I still have predictions for AEW Double or Nothing to do as well. Oy vey! Have a great night, my friends. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you at the matches.
