Thirty Days Of Dougie III – Day 12: Long Ass Survey Tyme

Thirty Days Of Dougie III – Day 12: Long Ass Survey Tyme
December 3, 2013

So this is Day 12 of the “Thirty Days” and I’m taking the easy way out by doing a survey. But I’m trying to play catch-up and when I finish this, I will be caught up so don’t be a hater. And besides, this is one that I’ve never done before (as near as I can remember) so you may learn something new about me? And if you want to indulge and do this survey too, even better. Just please tag me in it so I can read your answers. It’s long (fifty questions) and most of the answers require more than a word or two so I guess I’d better get started if I’m going to just do it. So let’s do this…

What was your favorite food when you were a child? Loved hot dogs, chicken, ketchup and squash. No that’s not a typo. Loved the stuff so much as a child, I started to turn yellow. Can’t stand it now though. Go figure.

What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod? I don’t have an iPod so I can’t really answer that. My most played songs from YouTube are “Outlaw You” by Shooter Jennings, “Same Love” by Macklemore and anything I can find by Alice Cooper or Johnny Cash.

What is one of your favorite quotes? “I’m not even supposed to be here today”, by Dante in the movie “Clerks”.

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? Sleeping, writing and making the love…

What chore do you absolutely hate doing? I DO NOT do yardwork. It’s evil and wrong.

What is your favorite form of exercise? Twerking of course… what else would it be?

What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year? Time of day is between 11:00 pm and 5am, day of week is usually Wednesday / Thursday and month of the year is October.

What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? Riding with others – don’t care how we go, but I hate to have to depend on others for rides.

What is your favorite body part? My penis of course…. and my whiskers.

What sound do you love? The birds chirping, a baby laughing, the moan of a sexy man as he…. well, you get the picture.

If you could throw any kind of party, what would it be like and what would it be for? I’d like to one day have a “reunion party” for all of us that used to hang around and party at Showtime Pizza, The Mans, Wakana’s and St. Andrews. Essentially it would be a “Stoney Crew Reunion” of the coolest, most awesome (and craziest) people I’ve ever had as part of my life. And I would also include my Wilmington friends, the “Montclair Maffia” folks (you know who you are) and my Dairy Mart family too. And of course, my current friends and family. It would be a cook-out / party for the ages…

If you could paint a picture of any scenery you’ve seen before, what would you paint? A picture of my Grandma Vick’s house up in South Point, Ohio. Something about that place always held a special place in my heart and it was one of my favorite places as a child.

If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be? Roughly around 30 or so…

If you knew the world was ending in 2014, what would you do differently? Nothing – no regrets here… only adventures and lessons.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor? As my role model to help mold, teach and point me in the right direction? How about Alice Cooper?

If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? The original Woodstock would be awesome to witness.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Play the piano and read music… And sing.

If you had to work on only one project for the next year, what would it be? A book of my views, opinions, thoughts and dreams…

If you were immortal for a day, what would you do? If you’re immortal, it would be forever and not just a day. If it’s only for a day, I’m not immortal – just invunerable.

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? Vincent or Vince..

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? My “Big Six” for this are Alice Cooper, Harley Race, James Dean, Sal Mineo, Richard Nixon and Edgar Allen Poe.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Pay off the old bills and make sure that my family was financially secure.

If you were reincarnated as an animal/drink/ice cream flavor, what would it be? As an animal, it would probably be an otter. A drink would be “Pepsi” and the ice cream flavor would be Orange Sherbert…

If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be? What are the account numbers and pass-codes I would need to have unlimited access to the financial assets of several major companies and corporations?

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? Bugs Bunny

Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? Used to have a passing Lou Ferrigno thing going on and if I’m getting busy, people think I’m Linda Lovelace (except for that I’m better than she was)…. lol

What do you want to be when you grow up? A writer, a wrestling booker, a weatherman, an icon and legend

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time? Read, write or sleep

What would you name the autobiography of your life? “Tossing The Salt”…

What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life? “I Never Cry” by Alice Cooper, “Little Liar” by Joan Jett, “Thunderbird” by Quiet Riot and “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake. And “Under My Skin” by Sinatra.

Have you ever had something happen to you that you thought was bad but it turned out to be for the best? Moving to Wilmington. I wasn’t ready to do it and didn’t want to, but I did and had some of the best times of my life.

What was one of the best parties you’ve ever been to? Almost any weekend at Roy Gee’s would qualify…

What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up? I watched Family Guy tonight and Brian died. I cried.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done? Having to fire my best friend / roommate when I was a store manager.

What was the last experience that made you a stronger person? Losing my job last week. It hasn’t killed me yet, so it must be making me stronger.

What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? Fight (a lot). Had a bad temper… and apparently, I still do.

When was the last time you had an amazing meal? This past Thursday (Thanksgiving). I ate alone, which sucked, but I cooked one helluva great meal and it was delicious. Only thing that sucked was the company (none).

What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received? I don’t know really. The worst I’ve ever received was a coupon for a free quart of egg nog (really). The best was a car from my dad (my first car – a 1978 Toyota Corolla).

What do you miss most about being a kid? The lack of responsibility and care-free life.

What is your first memory of being really excited? My first time with a girl… and then a week later, my first time with her brother… lol.

What was the first thing you bought with your own money? I think it was a stereo. Not sure though.

When was the last time you were nervous? Every time I have to deal with my mom, my nerves get shot to hell.

What is something you learned in the last week? Don’t trust anyone and people lie. I knew that already, but needed a reminder. And fellatio is like riding a bike. You may not do it for a while, but it comes back pretty quickly.

What story does your family always tell about you? Walking around in the bathtub in my shoes and socks singing “Hey there, Georgie Girl”. I was two..

At what age did you become an adult? Legally, at 18. Mentally, I don’t think I’ve quite made it there yet.

Is a picture worth a thousand words? Elaborate. No – it’s worth more.

Where’s Waldo? Probably at the Wal-Mart eating donuts.

The best part of waking up is? Knowing I’m one day closer to having Chris back home where he belongs… with me.

How now brown cow? I want some chocolate milk.

Whasssssuuuupppppp? Your mother on the pole and my blood pressure.

And there you go. That’s all for me. Catch you on the flip side.

Ubuntu!
