It’s time to do that wrestling thing, the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Are you ready? Let’s do this.

The 90-day non-competes have expired for Karrion Kross, Keith Lee, Eva Marie, Mia Yim, B-Fab, Harry Smith, Nia Jax, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado. Where do you see these wrestlers heading next?

Kross, I expect will end up in AEW, as will most likely Keith Lee. Eva Marie will, I suspect, go back to making B-movies. Mia Yim? I could see AEW in her future. B-Fab? To the studio to make bad rap albums. Harry Smith, I could see back at MLW or Impact? Nia Jax? Movies and back to plus-size modeling. And Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado, I hear Mexico calling.

So Johnny Knoxville versus Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania? What do you think?

I’m not crazy about having non-wrestlers wrestling, but if they do a short comedy match for Mania, with Knoxville and the Jackass Crew doing something with Sami Zayn, he’s the right person to pull it off and make sure it doesn’t suck. Go for it!

Brian Kendrick was pulled from his AEW debut against Jon Moxley because of past tweets, from nearly twelve years ago, being anti-Semitic showing up. Thoughts?

Kendrick has also since this was sent, come out on Twitter and apologized. I get why Tony Khan and AEW is upset and yeah, the comments he made were rough, but that was also over a decade ago. People change and evolve and I hate this Cancel Culture that is so relevant these days because none of that seems to matter. Jerry Lawler used to call people “fags” on live Memphis TV, and to me, that’s just as offensive as anything Kendrick said. I get where AEW is coming from and why they pulled Kendrick. It shouldn’t matter in that it was so long ago, but Tony Khan has advertisers and a business to protect and Kendrick takes the fall. Instead of taking this and using it as a learning experience to educate and promote understanding, the guy gets pulled. I get it, but I hate it.

Do you think there needs to be a wrestling network that plays all the old broadcasts from beginning to end? Like an NWA channel, AWA channel, WWF channel, etc?

It would be fun to see, but we already have that, with the WWE Network. Given the costs to set up that site and keep it going, for most companies, it would not be economically sound or possible. Just enjoy the Network, YouTube, Daily Motion, and sites like that and most of the stuff that is still around, you’ll find it. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best we’re probably going to get.

Terry Gordy vs. Ron Simmons. Who you got?

Are we talking about early Terry Gordy or the Gordy of the last couple of years of his career? Gordy had a situation in 1993 where he accidentally overdosed and went into a coma, suffering permanent brain damage. He managed to return to wrestling but was just a shadow of his former self. Before this happened, Gordy would get the win. Afterward, Simmons would be the man to get the arm raised. So it all comes down to when this dream fantasy match takes place. Hell, forget all that. Gordy wins.

Does Cowboy Ron Bass deserve to be in the HOF?

A solid mid-card wrestler who was a big name in Florida, Georgia, the Mid-Atlantic Region, Texas, and the WWE just to name a few, he is absolutely worthy of a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. Not at a headliner, but as someone to fill out the program and get his just kudos, most definitely.

If Stone Cold Steve Austin did not injure his neck, would he have been the one to end the Undertaker’s Streak at Wrestlemania?

Nope. Stone Cold didn’t need it and I can’t see him wanting to do it. Stone Cold had too many other things going on in WWE, with too many other potential feuds to consider, to be put into a program like that with the Undertaker.

And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions you may have are welcome and appreciated. Until the next time, take care and be safe. I’ll see you at the matches.

Ubuntu!
