Hot Button Issues Q&A

Sometimes, I’ll be on Twitter and see something that really gets the blood pumping and, as Peter Griffin would say, really grinds my gears. These hot-button issues need to be addressed. And now, here I am, and I will. I’m just giving my opinion, nothing more. Questions, comments, and thoughts are welcome and appreciated, but keep it civil. I’m Doug. Let’s poke the bear for a little bit and see what happens. I’m just giving my customized look at things, from a Dougie perspective. Let’s roll.

Al Sharpton says he will boycott ALL companies that eliminate DEI programs.

Al Sharpton is nothing more than a race-baiting con man looking to make a quick buck while pretending he matters. Calling him a Reverand is like calling eating a piece of shit a fine dining experience. People have been waking up to his BS more and more each time he tries to pull his blackmail/extortion stunt. I’m sure that no one who matters is worried about what Al Sharpton wants to do. And why? Because he doesn’t matter.

Can y’all imagine what the world would be like if we celebrated a Kamala Harris victory?

Lots of doom, gloom, depression, and cheap alcohol. And maybe some lubrication because our nation would have been royally fucked, just like she was back in her Willie Brown days. We dodged a major bullet when Kamala lost the election. And not because she’s a minority or a woman. That has nothing to do with it. But instead, because she’s incompetent, unqualified, and a complete dumb ass.

President Trump has RESCINDED LBJ’s Executive Order from 1965, which forced government contractors into the shackles of affirmative action. Thoughts?

Oh no! Now people will compete for jobs and spots in college because of their competence, hard work, ambition, skills, and actual qualifications instead of someone trying to fill a quota based on race, gender, etc. People will have to work to get ahead rather than depend on the crutch of being given special treatment due to reasons no one can control. That’s outrageous. That’s crazy. And it’s about damn time.

Do you think that Jennifer Aniston and Barack Obama are having an affair?

No, I do not. Obama likes guys, not women. Remember Larry Sinclair? If anything is going on between Obama and Aniston, it’s just a dog and pony show, and she’s being his beard, much like Rosario Dawson is for her Macho Man “boyfriend” Cory Booker. I can believe that Barack and Michelle are having marital problems. But his having an affair with Jennifer Aniston has nothing to do with it.

Should Anthony Fauci have his Secret Service protection revoked, which would cost taxpayers $15 million a year?

Dr. Fauci is not an elected Government official. Why are we paying for his security? He’s rich. He can afford a bodyguard. Cut him off and let the good doctor take care of his own security. It’s not our problem.

Congressman Andy Ogles (R-TN) is proposing a constitutional amendment to allow President Trump to seek a third term. YOUR REACTION?

I’m torn on this one. I am glad that President Trump is back in office, as I’m sure most Americans are. And our nation will benefit greatly with President Trump leading the way. He’s determined to truly make America great again, and I think he’s the perfect guy to do it. But, let’s look at reality. Donald Trump is 78 years old. In four years, when his term expires, he will be 82 years old. Do we really want an 82-year-old man running things? President Biden is 82 and look how screwed up things have gotten. No, President Trump is not Joe Biden, thank God for that, but at that age, he would be better as an elder statesman and advisor to the next President, most likely JD Vance, but whoever it is instead of running things. Two terms are enough for any President to set his agenda in motion and help groom the next person to take over when he leaves office. That’s what President Reagan did with G.W. Bush, and that’s what President Trump should do with Vance, and possibly Don Jr., Barron Trump, etc. Don’t worry about a third term for President Trump. He’ll make sure we’re in good hands when he leaves office. Instead, let’s focus on term limits for Congress. If it’s good enough for the President, then it’s good enough for Congress as well. ‘Nuff said!

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated, but be civil. If you want to see more of these, let me know. And with that, I’m out of here. Have a great one. God Bless America and let’s make America great again. I’ll catch you later.

Ubuntu!
