Sometimes, I’ll be on Twitter and see something that really gets the blood pumping and, as Peter Griffin would say, really grinds my gears. These hot-button issues need to be addressed. And now, here I am, and I will. I’m just giving my opinion, nothing more. Questions, comments, and thoughts are welcome and appreciated, but keep it civil. I’m Doug. Let’s poke the bear for a little bit and see what happens. I’m just giving my customized look at things, from a Dougie perspective. Let’s roll.

Ukraine President Zelensky claims that the Ukrainian people oppose holding elections and prefer that he remain in power. Thoughts?

This guy’s term as President has long expired, but he refuses to hold elections and risk losing power. How is this even legal or possible? What I find the most ironic about this is how the same people in the United States who support this guy and keep wanting to send him billions of dollars in support and aid are the same ones who keep saying that President Trump will find a way to stay in power after his term ends and how he’ll never give up the office peacefully now that he’s President again. Their buddy in Ukraine is doing exactly that, but it’s okay—more rules for thee, but not for me, as is typical hypocrisy with the Democrats in Washington. Zelinsky’s term as President has expired, but that’s okay. Illegal as hell, and just proof of what a criminal and hypocrite he truly is, but it’s not in the United States and not Donald Trump, so it’s fine. It’s perfectly fine.

Do you support the death penalty?

If a person kills another person in cold blood or molests a child, they deserve what they get. An eye for an eye, as the old saying goes. Yes, I support the death penalty. Some people are beyond redemption so why even bother or try?

Do you support President Trump closing the Department of Education and returning control to the states?

What does the DOE actually do? Before being established as a separate Government entity by President Carter in 1976, education was handled by the states with federal oversight by the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. And it worked. The expansion by the federal government only created more regulations, poorer standards, and more legal litigation and paperwork, but did it help the kids and improve education in our nation? The statistics say no. We now spend more money per student than ever before, but our standards and education rates are lower than ever in United States history. The DOE isn’t working, so why not go back to something that did? The DOE is bureaucratic overreach at its very worst. We all know it, so why keep pretending otherwise?

Google officially removed Pride Month from its Calendar app. How does this make you feel?

I feel relieved because, as a gay man, I feel that the so-called Pride Month only exploited the very worst of gay culture, highlighting the many parts that no one wants to see, that only make being gay look deranged, sick, and perverted. I’m gay and the person I love is a man. It’s about being ordinary people who share a life, a love, and a commitment to each other.

But then we have this so-called Pride month where the focus is on naked men parading around in leather and animal costumes in front of children, people having sex with strangers in the streets, men dressed as women, again in front of children, and the absolute worst being presented as everything that being gay is about when that’s the absolute farthest from the truth and reality.

It’s embarrassing and sad and makes me ashamed to admit being gay. And we’re supposed to encourage this? No, I don’t think so. Pride Month? Good riddance.

Would you support D.O.G.E. investigating Elizabeth Warren’s Multi MILLION Dollar Net Worth?

All of these so-called public servants who make $200,000 a year, but are multi-millionaires need to be investigated. Where did the money come from? If it’s legally earned from investments, hard work, and proper means, then great. More power to them. But if not, then they need to be able to explain just how they got so wealthy to the American people who pay their salaries. It’s called transparency and needs to be done.

Thousands of Danish citizens are launching an effort to buy California from the United States. This is in response to President Trump trying to buy Greenland. Thoughts?

President Trump was being sarcastic and joking about Greenland, but if those clowns want California, sell it to them. Let them have it, complete with the headaches, the wildfires, Governor Newsome, Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, Kamala Harris, the homeless situation, the illegal immigrants, etc. They can have it all. And within a week, they’d have buyers regret and be trying to give California back. Be careful what you ask for, right?

And there you go. Thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, and questions are welcome and appreciated, but be civil. If you want to see more of these, let me know. And with that, I’m out of here. Have a great one. God Bless America and let’s make America great again. I’ll catch you later.
