Welcome to the show. It’s the only pro wrestling Q&A that matters. You have questions, and I have answers. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. I’m Doug, your party host and Guiding Light. Are you ready? Let’s do this.
Who’s the greatest Canadian pro wrestler of all time?
There are so many to choose from, such as Bret Hart, Angelo Mosca, Owen Hart, Chris Jericho, Edge, Lance Storm, Eric Young, Natalya, etc. It’s a tough call. I think I’ll go with my current favorite female, Chelsea Green. If you don’t think she’s Canada’s best wrestler, just ask her. She’ll tell you.
Which side of Randy Orton do you prefer? Heel or babyface.
Randy as a babyface just doesn’t work for me, brother. I prefer the heel.
Does X-Pac deserve a solo WWE Hall of Fame nod?
Maybe at some point, but many others deserve that nod of acknowledgment first.
Are you addicted to wrestling? Yes or no?
I think that I can affirm that conclusion. Yes.
Michelle McCool says her phone hasn’t rang regarding Evolution 2025. Thoughts?
WWE knows how busy Michelle is with LFG, polishing up that so well-deserved Hall of Fame ring, and doing her yoga class and they just don’t want to overwhelm or overwork her. Yeah, I’m sure that’s the reason.
Do you consider 20k+ at All In Texas a victory for AEW after having “80k” at the first All-In?
If AEW has over twenty thousand tickets sold for AEW All In Texas, that’s a major accomplishment and something to be proud of. Yes, it is an AEW victory.
Do you think Becky Lynch should juggle acting and wrestling — or focus on one?
So long as she can schedule it and not burn herself out, Becky should do both. Wrestling is her bread and butter and what puts food on the table, while Hollywood is setting up for the future and a career once the in-ring glory fades. With the limited house show schedule WWE now has, working both Hollywood and WWE shouldn’t be much of a problem.
Kevin Nash says Tessa Blanchard is not on the same level as Rhea Ripley. Is Kevin right? Thoughts?
Rhea has the power of the WWE machine behind her, while Tessa is on super-secret probation levels with TNA. That’s like comparing Michael Jordon with Juke Dog down at the local park. Or comparing Kevin Nash to Brock Lesnar. Not the same level. But I think Tessa if WWE gave her the opportunity, could rise in the ranks quite well.
Singer Jelly Roll is scheduled to make an appearance at SummerSlam. Do you think he’ll end up in a match?
The last time that Jelly Roll was part of a WWE event, he gave Austin Theory a great chokeslam. Jelly Roll has been losing weight but is still a big man. I’m sure Theory wants revenge. I expect that we’ll see Jelly versus Theory, Round 2.
Madusa says that she wants to be a part of the Battle Royal at WWE Evolution 2. Should WWE allow this wrestling legend to participate in the Battle Royal?
If Madusa wants it, WWE should make it happen. Madusa might be 62 years old, but she’s in great shape and could probably take 85% of the roster if she wanted to. It’s just a Battle Royal and she wouldn’t be talking about it if she couldn’t handle it.
