The 10/8 television tapings for AEW Collision and ROH had 19 matches. Is that too much for one taping?

In all fairness, it was a taping for Collision, plus ROH’s shows, so there was a lot of television being produced. But still, nineteen matches? Plus, there was a delay when Kota Ibushi got injured. That’s a long night for even the most diehard fan. I would have been leaving about ten matches in at best. That’s just too much.

The International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame will have their induction ceremony this Sunday at the MVP Arena in Albany, NY. Being inducted are Trish Stratus, Tito Santana, Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas, Johnny Rodz, Clarence Bouldin, and NWA President Billy Corgan. Thoughts?

Congratulations to all the IPW Hall of Fame inductees. All are legends and deserving of the honor.

Zayda Steel, who wrestles regularly on WWE Evolve, has announced that she’s not renewing her WWE contract. Thoughts?

I’ve seen Steel wrestle several times on Evolve, and the young lady has a lot of potential. She’s only twenty-one, so I guess the work, the grind, the pressure, might be a bit much for her right now. Hopefully, she’ll be back at some point. She’s one of the good ones.

If you could make one match for WrestleMania 42 in April, with anyone you want, what match would you make?

I’d do Matt Cardona versus John Cena. Matt still owes John for that stunt with Eve Torres. Revenge for the Broski. Woo woo woo, you know it!

Best of Seven: Eddie Guerrero versus Bret Hart. Who wins?

Damn, this would be good. A tough call here as well, but I see Bret winning, four matches to three.

Fans are threatening a boycott of AEW until the ICE commercials are removed from AEW programming on Max, TBS, and TNT. Thoughts?

Fans support criminals and want to punish AEW for ICE enforcing the law? No one who matters cares. Get over it. Can AEW’s ratings sink much longer? I guess we’ll find out.

Do you think FTR has become a joke in AEW?

I think FTR is an excellent tag team, and when used properly, with the right motivation, it is one of the best tag teams in pro wrestling. The way that AEW has used them for the past year, though, that’s the joke, and it’s not even close to being funny. And it just seems as if Cash and Wheeler have given up trying and are just going through the motions. Why fight and maintain high standards when mediocrity is what seems to be rewarded? FTR deserves better, and the joke? That’s just part of being in AEW.

Brie Bella recently slammed ICE for their “extremely disturbing and evil actions”. Thoughts?

Brie is jumping on the bandwagon and trying to be relevant. It’s not working.

Do you think Jon Moxley is AEW’s true MVP? Should he get another world title run?

Moxley is one of the most consistent in AEW, and certainly one of Tony Khan’s favorites. Does that make him the MVP? Probably, in Tony’s eyes anyhow. Another World title run? Maybe, at some point, but not for a while. We haven’t gotten over the last run as champ yet.

Do you think Jordynne Grace should stay in NXT a little longer, or is it time for her to dominate RAW or SmackDown?

I think a little more time in NXT is appropriate. RIght now, the main roster is crowded, and she’d be lost in the shuffle.
