WWE Crown Jewel: Perth
Thoughts and Predictions

WWE Crown Jewel: Perth takes place tomorrow morning, live from Perth, Western Australia, Australia. It will be live on ESPN+, and I believe, around the world, on Netflix. Here in the U.S., it’s just the overly priced, annoying ESPN app. It’s a big WWE event, and that means prediction time. Let’s break out the crystal ball and see what’s shaking.
WWE Crown Jewel Championship
Cody Rhodes (SmackDown’s Undisputed WWE Champion) vs. Seth Rollins (Raw’s World Heavyweight Champion).
Why are the two top champions fighting in a meaningless match for a meaningless title? I really have no interest in this match at all. I expect we’ll see Seth have some help from The Vision, or will we? I can see Heyman and Bron walking out to make Seth do this on his own. And if Seth does lose, imagine the tantrum he’ll be pulling on RAW Monday morning. Nobody wants to see that. Cody has won the last three. I think Seth deserves one.
Winner and NEW Crown Jewel Champion: Seth Rollins.
WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship
Stephanie Vaquer (Raw’s Women’s World Champion) vs. Tiffany Stratton (SmackDown’s WWE Women’s Champion).
Stephanie seems to have lost her momentum over the past month. Being sick will do that to a person. And Stratton. She needs redemption after that disaster last week on SmackDown with Nia and Jade. Stratton needs a big win. She’s not getting it here. Vaquer needs it more.
Winner and NEW Women’s Crown Jewel Champion: Stephanie Vaquer.
John Cena vs. AJ Styles.
Cena isn’t losing here. This should be an excellent match, but no way John takes the “L”.
Winner: John Cena.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane).
Happy Belated Birthday to Rhea, who turned 29 yesterday. So young, yet already so awesome. I never bet against Asuka, because no one is ready for Asuka, but… Rhea is in her home country and is celebrating a birthday weekend. She’s even doing Shoeys. Rhea and Iyo are not losing. The Kabuki Warriors are going down. And poor Kairi. Asuka is going to be pissed off, come Monday morning on RAW.
Winners: Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky.
Australian Street Fight
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed.
A street fight means lazy booking and lots of people getting involved. We’ll see Bron Breakker, the Usos, and hell, maybe even a secret weapon from Heyman. Is Brock on this trip? This should be a good brawl, albeit it’ll be overdone with tables, ladders, and chairs, oh my. They’re in Australia, and Bronson Reed is the hometown boy. I can see him doing a Shoey now out of Roman’s brand-new Nikes. We’re setting up for War Games, and I think there will be a Tsunami in The Bloodline’s way.
Winner: Bronson Reed.
And there you go, with my predictions for WWE Crown Jewel: Perth. I won’t be watching because WWE has priced me out with the additional app and fees, but I’ll follow online and watch the highlights on YouTube. Enjoy the show, however you follow it. What are your predictions? Let me know what you’re thinking. And that’s all for now. I’ll see you at the Tiki Bar.
