Welcome to July. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this…

Playing Devil’s Advocate here, what if a female wrestler made the same comment (Guevara’s) about a male wrestler?

Given the double-standards that usually happen when dealing with men and women, I think probably nothing would happen. It would be played off as the (tasteless) joke it obviously was and brushed under the rug.

Would you like if Sammy returned this week and helped Orange Cassidy beat Jericho and he joined the best friends stable and down the road they faced the Inner circle?

I would love to see that, but I’d much rather see him and Jericho back as a tag team for a while longer and win some tag team gold. I’m just ready to see Sammy back on AEW TV, the sooner the better.

Would you like to see Wardlow join the Inner Circle?

Not really. I think, for the time being, he’s better off working with MJF while the Inner Circle is fine as it is. They don’t want to do a nWo and get too big. Five members are more than enough for now.

Do you think 2020 sucks because Vince Russo is head of creative for the whole world?

That would explain quite a bit, bro!

Who will be the first Black AEW World Champion?

I have no idea, but so long as they’re talented, worthy, entertaining, and put butts in the seats, I’m not stressing it. But why worry about race? Just make sure the champion is a good champion and leave the political posturing and political correctness out of it.

Do you think Dolph Ziggler will get an actual Championship run? Or is the rest of his career going to be to make other guys look good on the roster?

Always the Bridesmaid and never the Bride. That is Dolph’s future.

Which was the better team? Scott Steiner & Buff Bagwell or “Vicious & Delicious” Scott Norton & Buff Bagwell?

I was more entertained by Norton and Bagwell’s partnership than anything with Scott Steiner. Bagwell could be annoying at times, but he was a good performer and seemed to excel in the tag team competition. With Scott Norton, he had the perfect partner. I’m surprised they never got a run with the titles because they definitely were worthy.

Thoughts on Killer Tim Brooks?

I mainly remember two things about Killer Brooks. He had a brief stay in Crockett where he portrayed Blackjack Mulligan’s crazy”Cousin Luke”. And then a few years later in Georgia, he won and then sold the NWA National Championship to Larry Zbyszko, from who the title had been stripped from previously. He was absolutely a good performer and perfect for the territory days. He passed away yesterday and it leaves a void in the world that is and was professional wrestling. RIP Killer Tim Brooks.

And there you go. My thanks for reading.
