Ultimate Wrestling Q&A: Sgt. Slaughter, Miz & Morrison & More…

Tossing Salt Presents:
Ultimate Wrestling Q&A
Sgt. Slaughter, The Miz & Morrison & More
January 10, 2020

Welcome to another mind-numbing edition of the always so awesome Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. We have many questions courtesy of the always incredible Cheese and the also always incredible Larry Z. There’s no time for love, Miss Jones. Let’s do this.

Happy Birthday to my bro-son, the Jay to my Silent Bob, the always and forever infamous K-Mak. I loves ya, my Nigga!

Sgt. Slaughter is currently catching a lot of heat for allegedly lying about having been in the military. Thoughts?

The Sarge comes from a time when kayfabe was the rule of the day and with his character being that of a bad-ass former Marine, it was important to play the role and keep the gimmick alive. But now that the Sarge is retired, he should drop the pretense and most definitely quit telling stories about being in Vietnam and his PTSD from the war. If that’s not possible for Slaughter to do, then just quit giving shoot interviews or else avoid the topic whenever possible. If it comes up, admit the truth and change the subject. In today’s nit-picky world, people tend to get upset over any and everything and there is no reason to stroke the fire with fake stories about military service.

Do you think that John Morrison and The Miz will be reuniting as a tag team in WWE?

With a roster of talent so deep as currently in the WWE, a return to action as a tag team would be a great way to reintroduce Morrison to the WWE fans and give both he and Miz something to do while they bide their time for a big push. And anyways, Miz and Morrison could team for a bit and then feud. It would be great matches and fun promos for all involved. They may not be teaming much to start, but I think that we’ll see them together more often than not in the future.

Does Magnum TA belong in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Absolutely. Magnum was a top star for the NWA, Mid-South, and WCW before his car accident and is still a very recognizable figure to wrestling fans today. His career was far too short yet his legacy continues to live and thrive even today thanks to the WWE Network and the work of his step-daughter, Tessa Blanchard. Magnum is an absolute first-round Hall of Famer for WWE.

Who would you like to see eliminate Brock Lesnar from the Royal Rumble match?

Heath Slater, R-Truth or Drake Maverick.

Thoughts on Diamond Dallas Page return to wrestling next week on AEW Dynamite?

I’m not surprised. Dallas Page is in excellent shape and has been working with AEW and a part of things since Day 1, He’s been involved in a few situations already and if Page thinks that he can still go in that ring and work a match, more power to him. Bring him on and let’s see who will feel the “BANG!”.

And I guess that will be all for now. My thanks for reading. Any comments, thoughts or questions, please drop me a line here in the comment section or at my e-mail address of Doug28352@yahoo.com. Take care and stay safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
