He was a liar. If a person can’t be honest and tell the truth, I don’t want or need them in my life, regardless of how good they look or the sex may be. Well, they can come back for the occasional booty call, but that’s it. Nothing more.

Do you feel like a lack of attention can cause you to fall out of love with somebody?

Absolutely. If the person I love doesn’t have time for me and treats me as an afterthought, my feelings are going to change pretty damn quickly.

Have you ever written a “rubber check”?

A check that I know has insufficient funds, but I write it anyhow to buy some time? It may have happened once or twice back in the day.

How often do you buy a new coat?

An actual coat? Rarely. Usually, someone else will buy one for me. I prefer hoodies and I just bought a new one. It’s an Alice Cooper hoodie and should be here tomorrow if the tracking thing is being honest. I’m excited.

And there you go. I know this is short this morning, but I just woke up and it’s my pre-breakfast warm-up.
