Terry Taylor, Seth Rollins & More

It’s more devastating than a public restroom next to Taco Bell. It’s the Ultimate Wrestling Q&A. Let’s do this.
I always thought Terry Taylor could have been a great Horseman. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinion. Terry had that baby face, the women loved him, and could be a pretty good heel.
Terry was a good wrestler, but he was not Horsemen material by any stretch of the imagination. While he had a good run in Mid-South, his stays in both WCW and WWF were mid-card at best and after that Red Rooster run, no top faction would touch him and rightfully so.
After last night with both Edge and Priest going heel, I’m reminded of something. A little while back they had a backstage interaction where Edge told Priest he needs to let his bad side come out more or something like that. Wonder how long before they possibly form some kind of alliance?
I could see that happening. Edge has had some good matches since his return to the WWE and active wrestling, but the matches he has had have taken their toll. WWE would be smart to move Edge to more of a tag team role where he could be on TV regularly, be a headliner, and be a top draw, but the amount of wear and tear on his body would be cut in half, and with that in mind, an Edge/Priest tag team would work very well and protect Edge while allowing him to mentor Priest and help him get better. As for when I could see it as early as Mania if Edge has any problems fighting AJ and Priest interferes on his behalf. Admit it, that would reek of awesomeness.
If you could cast any wrestlers past or present as Batman characters in a movie, who would they be and why?
As Batman, how about Nick Aldis? The Joker, that role has Seth Rollins and his cackling laugh all over it. Poison Ivy could be played by Becky Lynch, while Harley Quinn could be played by the talented Alexi Bliss. For Robin, let’s go with Dominick Mysterio. Sami Zayn as The Scarecrow. Brock Lesnar as Bane. And William Regal as Alfred.
Considering Jeff Hardy’s non-compete clause ends after Revolution, that kinda eliminates the Hardys. So who do you think is the 3rd team for Revolution?
Well, so far we have Jurassic Express and reDragon as the first two teams challenging for Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus’s AEW Tag Team Championship titles. The third team? Hmmm. How about, coming over from Impact via the Forbidden Door, The Good Brothers, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson? It works for me. And if not, use FTR, the best team in AEW. Either way, you can’t go wrong.
What match is your favorite guilty pleasure match? An awful match that for whatever reason you can’t get enough of?
The Tuxedo Matches where two men, usually non-wrestlers, get in there and rip the Tuxedoes off each other. It’s not pretty in any way, shape, or form, and is essentially just a bra & panties match, but with men instead of women, but I remember seeing Paul E. Dangerously (Paul Heyman) fight Jim Cornette in one of these many years ago and it was so damn entertaining. So there you go.
If you had to bring back a pay-per-view from the past, which one would you pick?
I’d pick, from WCW, Slamboree: A Legend’s Reunion. I enjoyed the old-timers being interviewed in between the matches, the WCW Hall of Fame Inductions in the middle of the show, and the “Legends Matches” that were presented as well. It was always just a great night for all the old-school fans, with a healthy mix of nostalgia and current stars.
If Owens goes on to fight Austin, what’s left for Rollins?
I have no idea. Maybe a match against the new U.S. Champion, Finn Balor? I’m sure that WWE will find something for Rollins to do at Mania. He’s too big a star to forget about or ignore.
In your opinion, should AEW add more PPVs to change their current trend of super-long and bloated shows?
No!
And there you go. My thanks for reading. Comments, thoughts, or any questions you may have, give me a shout in the comment box or at my e-mail of Doug28352@yahoo.com. Until the next time, take care and be safe. I’ll see you at the matches.
Ubuntu!
