Thoughts & Predictions

WWE will present Backlash this Saturday on ESPN Unlimited and Netflix from Tampa, Florida, with a 6:00 PM Eastern start time for the show (with the first hour also airing on ESPN2). Here is what I think will happen on Saturday.
Men’s World Championship Match: Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu.
This seems so rushed and thrown together. I’m sure it will be a good match, but why? I think this is a return to the past. Look for the OTC to win as the Bloodline stands tall, again.
Winner and STILL World Champion: Roman Reigns.
Men’s United States Championship Match: Trick Williams vs Sami Zayn.
Sami turns full heel, but he won’t be able to get past the Trick. No title change here.
Winner and STILL United States Champion: Trick Williams.
Seth Rollins vs Bron Breakker.
Seth is a made man, so wins and losses don’t matter. Bron is the future, and a loss, even to Seth, would hurt his traction and projectory. Another very good match, but Bron should be the one to take the victory lap.
Winner: Bron Breakker.
Iyo Sky vs Asuka.
Iyo is ready for Asuka. Iyo wins.
Winner: Iyo Sky.
Kit Wilson and Miz vs Danhausen and Mystery Partner.
The big story here is who will be Danhausen’s partner. All the clues and rumors point to Shane McMahon. I’d prefer Norman Smiley, The Hurricane, or The Disco Inferno, but Shane works too, and given his last WWE appearance was against The Miz, it makes sense. And if you don’t already know who will be winning, you deserve to be cursed.
Winners: Danhausen and his mystery partnerhausen.
John Cena’s Major Announcement:
He’ll reveal to us what was in Baby Doll’s Manila envelope way back when Baby Doll and Larry Zbyszko tried to blackmail Dusty Rhodes. Or a PPV for somewhere in Europe. It won’t live up to the hype, and people will complain.
And there you go with my predictions. Let me know what you think, and enjoy the show. I’ll catch you later.
Ubuntu!
