this quiet place

it’s all I have left

I’ve confessed all my sins

and retribution is demanded

I’ve never been an angel

but penance is too harsh

thus my sins go unforgiven

and the cost

the price I must pay

it isn’t too much

only my immortal soul

what the hell

I wasn’t planning on using it anytime soon anyhow….
