Pro Wrestling Q&A

Are you ready to talk some wrestling? You have the questions and I have all the answers. Well, maybe not all of them, but a few of them anyhow. The questions come from the Facebook group, “Kult of Kayfabe”, aka the KoK. And the rest, that’s just little ol’ me. Let’s do this…

Anyone else disappointed in that we won’t see Mahal vs Lesnar anymore?

I actually am. I was looking forward to seeing Jinder and Brock match up size for size and power for power. This match could have been used to really make Jinder and firmly lock him into that spot on the upper rungs of the roster ladder, but Vince and Company decided to play it safe instead and go with Brock versus AJ instead. That will be a good match to be sure and I think AJ will be a bump-monkey, taking suplex after suplex and one helluva beating. But Jinder has worked hard and done a good job as the WWE Champion for the past six months and I think that he should have been allowed to continue on at least til’ Wrestlemania. Maybe we’ll get Jinder versus Brock in the future? I hope so.

Who do you think had the bigger overall impact on pro wrestling? Ric Flair or the Undertaker?

While I have much respect for Undertaker, there is only one Ric Flair and his influence and impact on the world of professional wrestling is pretty much locked in at the top spot. No one else even comes close and that’s not a slam on anyone else, but instead a statement of fact on just how good Ric Flair truly was.

Would you like to see the woman of #WWE Headline #WrestleMania ??

If it’s the right women and the match is good, go for it. Asuka versus Charlotte sounds like a solid main event for any show to me, including Wrestlemania.

Is anyone else tired of seeing Randy Orton win? The dude is stale #NoMoreRKO #RusevShouldveWon.

I agree 100%. Randy is a good guy when inspired and against someone who matters, can be entertaining, but while people might talk about how Roman Reigns is forced on us, his push is nothing compared to Randy’s. I’m tired of Randy and bored with Randy. Go ahead and retire already or move to Hollywood. I don’t care, but no more Orton and the RKO out of nowhere… please.

The best thing about WCW was… ??

That it wasn’t the WWE and was all about “wrestling” when the WWF was giving us Hogan and clowns and race car drivers and who knows who else.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate Sam Roberts’ representation of fans views on Sirius XM and WWE PPV’s?

Sam is okay and does a fair job on the Kickoff Shows, but I’d rather see former wrestlers or legends or just about anyone else.

If Paul Heyman would have got full control of WCW instead of Bischoff, would WWE be around today?

WCW may or may not still be around if Heyman was in charge of WCW instead of Bischoff, but regardless, the WWE would still be around as well. Vince McMahon is not the type to quit or give up… ever, and so long as he was still alive and breathing, he would do anything he would need to do to keep the WWF alive and kicking.

Bruno Sammartino was one of the all time greats. Do you think anyone will ever break his record title run?

Almost 11 years as the WWWF Champion. Will that record ever be broken? Nope. Not going to happen.

And that’s all for me for now. Thanks for reading. Questions, comments, thoughts and all feedback is welcome. Until the next time, have a great one and I’ll catch you on the flip side. Take it easy.
