Tossing Salt Presents:
Hulk Hogan, Vickie Guerrero, War Games & More
October 29, 2018
Are you ready for some Q&A, wrestling style? No time for love, Mr. Jones. Let’s do this!
Do you think Hulk Hogan will make an appearance at Golden Crown?
Hogan keeps hinting around about showing up and being a part of the Golden Crown event and if the stories are true that John Cena isn’t working the event and that Daniel Bryan may not wrestling at the event either, WWE may need a big mega-star to add something extra to the event. I know that they have Undertaker, Kane, HHH and the return of HBK to the ring, but with no Cena, Bryan and let’s not forget no Roman Reigns, it sure as heck couldn’t hurt to have a little Hulkamania in the house. I think he’ll be there.
Was the heel turn by Dean Ambrose on the same night that Roman Reigns made his announcement appropiate?
Absolutely. I’ve already spoken on this in the Fact or Fiction column, but I’ll do it again here. The announcement by Roman kind of sucked the life from the crowd at the start of the show and they needed something big. This was big. It was the absolute right time for Ambrose to take out Seth and the heat he’s getting and will continue to get, it’s the best heel turn since Barry Windham turned on Lex Luger to join the Horsemen. It’s the first time in forever that Ambrose has even remotely done anything that I found exciting or interesting. So appropiate? You betcha!
Should Vickie Guerrero be in the WWE Hall of Fame?
When Vickie first joined the WWE full time after Eddie’s death, it was an act of sympathy and no one really expected anything, but Vickie went out there and worked hard and went from being a pity-case to being a top character in her own right. She can generate heat and a reaction from the fans better than almost anyone with just two words. So should she be in the WWE Hall of Fame? Excuse me! Of course she should.
Do you think we’ll ever see “War Games – The Match Beyond” on a main roster WWE pay-per-view?
Right now it’s an NXT match and used at some of the Takeover events and that’s fine. But will it ever be a part of a WWE show or event? As HHH gains more power in the company and the legacy of that match continues to grow, I think it will eventually happen.
If the Rock was to come back for one last match, who should his opponent be?
Roman Reigns would be the natural choice given their family history, but with Roman out of action for a while and with Wrestlemania being roughly only six months away, it’s time for another selection. I honestly doubt that he’ll be medically cleared to return by Wrestlemania, but my pick would be the Prize Fighter himself, Kevin Owens. Owens can match Rock on the mic and he’s a talented guy who the fans love to hate and would get a great rub from a fight against “The Great One”. And if neither Roman or Owens are available, just go with the A-Lister, The Miz. I’d rather see Miz winning the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, but a Miz versus Rock, movie star versus movie star, epic encounter would be great to see.
And there you go. Thoughts, comments, and any thing else you might want to say is welcome and appreciated. Talk to me, my Peeps! And with that, I’m down and gone. Have a great one and I’ll see you at the matches.
